Abstract

Methods, apparatuses and systems are provided for grant-less (GL) uplink transmissions. A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive a configuration of a set of GL Physical Uplink Shared Channel (GL-PUSCH) frequency resources. The WTRU may monitor for a downlink control information (DCI) message, wherein the DCI message includes an indication of a presence of at least a subset of the set of GL-PUSCH frequency resources. If the WTRU successfully receives the DCI message, the WTRU may select one or more GL-PUSCH frequency resources from the subset of the set of GL-PUSCH frequency resources and may select a time period. The WTRU may transmit data on a GL-PUSCH using the selected GL-PUSCH frequency resources during the selected time period. The WTRU may also monitor for hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) based on the selected GL-PUSCH frequency resources. The WTRU may monitor for the DCI during a fixed time window.

Claims (34)

1. A method for use in a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) for multiple access wireless communications, the method comprising:

receiving, by the WTRU, configuration information indicating a set of physical channel frequency resources;

receiving, by the WTRU, a downlink control information (DCI) message, wherein the DCI message includes an indication of an allocation of at least a subset of the set of physical channel frequency resources;

determining, by the WTRU, one or more physical shared channel frequency resources from the subset of the set of physical channel frequency resources and a time period;

transmitting, by the WTRU, data in a physical shared channel transmission using the determined one or more physical shared channel frequency resources during the determined time period;

determining, by the WTRU, a time location for reception of hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) information associated with the transmitted data, wherein the determination of the time location is based on the subset of the set of physical channel frequency resources; and

receiving, by the WTRU, the HARQ-ACK information during the determined time location.

2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the determination of the one or more physical shared channel frequency resources from the subset of the set of physical channel frequency resources is based on a WTRU-ID.

3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the time period is determined randomly.

4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the time period is determined based on a WTRU-ID.

5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the reception of the DCI message occurs during a fixed time window.

6. The method of claim 1 , wherein the time period is within a fixed time window.

7. The method of claim 1 , wherein the determination of the time location is further based on a physical channel resource index.

8. The method of claim 7 , wherein the DCI message includes the physical channel resource index, wherein the physical channel resource index indicates the subset of the set of physical channel frequency resources and indicates the time location.

9. The method of claim 1 , wherein control information is transmitted on the physical shared channel.

10. The method of claim 1 , wherein the HARQ-ACK information is received in a slot.

11. The method of claim 1 , wherein the DCI message includes feedback information.

12. A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) for multiple access wireless communications, the WTRU comprising:

a transceiver; and

the transceiver operatively coupled to a processor; wherein:

the transceiver is configured to receive configuration information indicating a set of physical channel frequency resources;

the transceiver and the processor are configured to receive a downlink control information (DCI) message, wherein the DCI message includes an indication of an allocation of at least a subset of the set of physical channel frequency resources;

the processor is configured to determine one or more physical shared channel frequency resources from the subset of the set of physical channel frequency resources and a time period;

the transceiver is configured to transmit data on a physical shared channel transmission using the determined one or more physical channel frequency resources during the determined time period;

the processor is configured to determine a time location for reception of hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) information associated with the transmitted data, wherein the determination of the time location is based on the subset of the set of physical channel frequency resources; and

the transceiver and the processor are configured to receive the HARQ-ACK information during the determined time location.

13. The WTRU of claim 12 , wherein the determination of the one or more physical shared channel frequency resources from the subset of the set of physical channel frequency resources is based on a WTRU-ID.

14. The WTRU of claim 12 , wherein the time period is determined randomly.

15. The WTRU of claim 12 , wherein the time period is determined based on a WTRU-ID.

16. The WTRU of claim 12 , wherein the reception of the DCI message occurs during a fixed time window.

17. The WTRU of claim 12 , wherein the time period is within a fixed time window.

18. The WTRU of claim 12 , wherein the determination of the time location is further based on a physical channel resource index.

19. The WTRU of claim 12 , wherein control information is transmitted on the physical shared channel.

20. The WTRU of claim 12 , wherein the HARQ-ACK information is received in a slot.
