providing a flexible elongate member including a distal portion and a proximal portion;

coupling a crown element to the distal portion, wherein the crown element includes an annular ring, a first post, and a second post, and the first post and the second post extend perpendicularly from the annular ring;

anchoring a first pullwire to the annular ring at the first post;

extending the first pullwire along the flexible elongate member from the crown element to the proximal portion of the flexible elongate member such that translation of the first pullwire in a proximal direction deflects the distal portion in a first direction and a second direction;

anchoring a second pullwire to the annular ring at the second post; and

extending the second pullwire along the flexible elongate member from the crown element to the proximal portion of the flexible elongate member such translation of the second pullwire in a proximal direction deflects the distal portion in a third direction and a fourth direction,

wherein the first post and the second post are components of the crown element that are distinct from the first pullwire and the second pullwire.

13. The method of claim 12 , further comprising coupling at least one of an imaging component, an ablation component, a cutting component, or a morcellation component to the distal portion of the flexible elongate member.
