Abstract

Certain aspects of the disclosure are directed to customization of a contact center, using a data communications server. According to a specific example, the data communications server includes circuitry configured and arranged to provide data communications services to a plurality of remotely-situated client entities. The data communications server further provides a graphical user interface (GUI) for each respective remotely-situated client entity, the GUI including a display of communications-based campaigns, interactive voice response (IVR) tools, and data analytics. Moreover, the data communications server provides a display on the GUI including selectable components to create for the associated remotely-situated client entity, a customization for handling incoming data communications by the data communications server. Accordingly, the data communications server may handle communications for the associated remotely-situated client entity according to the provided customization.

Claims (28)

1. A method for customization of a contact center provided by a data communications server, wherein the data communications server includes circuitry configured and arranged to provide data communications services to a plurality of remotely-situated client entities, the data communications server to provide customization of the contact center by:

providing a graphical user interface (GUI) for each associated client entity-of the plurality of remotely-situated client entities, the GUI including a display of communications-based campaigns, interactive voice response (IVR) tools, and data analytics;

providing a display on the GUI including selectable components to create for the associated client entity, a customization for handling incoming data communications by the data communications server and being based at least in part on attributes that are customized based on monitoring of a plurality of communications using the data communications services;

monitor, for at least one of the client entities among the plurality of remotely-situated client entities, communications placed to target recipients in a particular communications-based campaign;

determine respective dispositions for the monitored communications placed to target recipients, based on parameters defined by or on behalf of the at least one of the client entities and relating to measurable communications metrics;

compare attributes of certain of the communications-based campaigns, including attributes of the particular communications-based campaign and attributes of at least one other communications-based campaign from among the communications-based campaigns;

predict or indicate a likely success rate of the particular communications-based campaign based on the respective dispositions and on the attributes being compared; and

handling the incoming data communications for the associated remotely-situated client entity according to the provided customization.

The method of claim 1 , wherein the data communications server is configured and arranged to provide customization of the contact center by providing a display on the GUI including selectable components to create for the associated client entity, a customization for handling incoming telephone calls by an IVR system.

3. The method of claim 2 , wherein the data communications server is configured and arranged to provide customization of the contact center by handling communications for the associated client entity according to the IVR system.

4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the data communications server is configured and arranged to provide customization of the contact center by providing a display on the GUI including selectable options to configure automatic contact lists for the associated remotely-situated client entity.

5. The method of claim 4 , wherein the data communications server is configured and arranged to provide customization of the contact center by handling communications for the associated client entity according to the configured automatic contact lists.

The method of claim 1 , wherein the attributes are customized according to factors that include at least two or more of the following: phone numbers or customer identifiers; day of the week in which a set of customers is contacted; at least one time of day a set of one or more customer is contacted; and one or more locations from where communications appeared to have originated as indicated by a location identifier.

7. A data communications server comprising:

one or more computer processor circuits coupled to memory circuits and configured to interface with a plurality of remotely-situated client entities, each remotely-situated client entity having at least one computing device including a user interface, wherein the data communications server is configured and arranged to:

provide a graphical user interface (GUI) for each associated client entity of the plurality of remotely-situated client entities, the GUI including a display of communications-based campaigns, interactive voice response (IVR) tools, and data analytics;

monitor, for select client entities among the plurality of remotely-situated client entities, communications placed to target recipients in a respective communications-based campaign;

determine a disposition for each respective monitored communication, based on parameters defined by or on behalf of the associated client entity and relating to measurable communications metrics;

provide a display on the GUI including selectable options to configure automatic calling lists for the associated remotely-situated client entity based on the determined disposition, and suggested modifications to said respective communications-based campaign based on a predicted success rate; and

handle incoming communications for the associated client entity according to customized IVR queues and/or the configured automatic calling lists, wherein the data communications server is to:

compare attributes of other communications-based campaigns of the select client entities and attributes of a particular communications-based campaign associated with one of the select client entities;

predict a success rate of the particular communications-based campaign based on the disposition of one or more of the monitored communications and the comparison of the attributes; and

adjust the suggested modifications to the particular communications-based campaign based on a predicted success rate.

8. The data communications server of claim 7 , wherein the attributes which are used to analyze campaign performance and determine success of a particular communications-based campaign, are customized by each associated client entity among the select client entities.

The data communications server of claim 7 , wherein each respective campaign includes a plurality of targeted communications sent to targeted recipients in a contact list, with a particular frequency, on particular days, or at particular times of day and directed to sales, generating leads, marketing a brand, or performing market research.

The data communications server of claim 7 , wherein a plurality of communications are generated by an automatic communications system associated with a first remotely-situated client entity, and wherein the data communications server determines the disposition for each respective communication by monitoring the communications generated by the automatic communications system.

The data communications server of claim 7 , wherein the attributes are customized by at least one associated client entity of the plurality of remotely-situated client entities according to factors used in at least one other campaign, wherein said factors include at least two or more of the following: phone numbers or customer identifiers; day of the week in which a set of customers is contacted; at least one time of day a set of one or more customer is contacted; and one or more locations from where communications appeared to have originated as indicated by a location identifier.

12. The data communications server of claim 7 , wherein the attributes are used by the data communications server to generate a second campaign based on customization of the attributes and appearance of relevancy of selected ones of the attributes.
