Abstract

A method, system, apparatus, and/or device that may include: monitoring safety event data of a plurality of electronic devices via an electronic communication network; receiving a first set of safety event data from a first electronic device of the plurality of electronic devices via the electronic communication network; determining that a first safety event has occurred at the first electronic device of the plurality of electronic devices based on the first set of safety event data; determining that a second safety event has occurred at a second electronic device of the plurality of electronic devices based on a second set of safety event data; and determining a prediction that a third safety event will occur at a third electronic device of the plurality of electronic device based on the first safety event data and the second safety event data.

Claims (71)

1. An electronic device hub comprising:

a communication device to receive:

first health safety event data from a first electronic device associated with a first user; and

second health safety event data from a second electronic device associated with a second user,

wherein:

the first health safety event data corresponds to:

first measurement data corresponding to physiological measurements ta ken from the first user; and

first health condition data corresponding to a health condition of the first user and associated with the first measurement data; and

the second health safety event data corresponds to:

second measurement data corresponding to physiological measurements taken from the second user; and

second health condition data corresponding to a health condition of the second user and associated with the second measurement data; and

a processor operatively coupled to the communication device, wherein the processor is configured to:

determine that a first safety event has occurred at the first electronic device in response to the first health safety event data received from the first electronic device;

determine that a second safety event has occurred at the second electronic device in response to the second health safety event data received from the second electronic device;

determine that the second safety event corresponds to the first safety event;

in response to determining that the second safety event corresponds to the first safety event, determine a prediction that a third safety event corresponding to one or more of the first safety event and the second safety event will occur at a third electronic device in response to the third electronic device generating third health safety event data that corresponds to the first health safety event data or the second health safety event data;

determine a cause of the first safety event or the second safety event; and

communicate the cause of the first safety event or the second safety event to the third electronic device.

2. The electronic device hub of claim 1 , wherein the first electronic device, the second electronic device, or the third electronic device comprises a wrist-worn device.

3. The electronic device hub of claim 1 , wherein the processor is further configured to:

receive, from the first electronic device, user information comprising data unique to the first user; and

associate the data unique to the first user with a user identifier for the first user.

4. The electronic device hub of claim 1 , wherein the processor is further configured to send a notification indicating one or more of:

a cause of the second safety event; and

a safety issue associated with the second safety event.

5. The electronic device hub of claim 1 , wherein determining that the second safety event corresponds to the first safety event comprises one or more of:

determining that the first safety event and the second safety event correspond to a same type of safety event; or

matching a first safety parameter associated with the first safety event to a second safety parameter associated with the second safety event.

6. The electronic device hub of claim 1 , wherein the processor determines that the second safety event corresponds to the first safety event in response to a number of safety parameters associated with the second safety event matching safety parameters associated with the first safety event.

7. The electronic device hub of claim 1 , wherein the processor is further configured to determine a cause of one or more of the first safety event and the second safety event, wherein determining the cause comprises:

comparing the first health safety event data received from the first electronic device and the second health safety event data received from the second electronic device;

identifying a safety parameter that is common in the first health safety event data and the second health safety event data; and

searching a memory device to identify a cause associated with the identified safety parameter.

8. The electronic device hub of claim 1 , wherein safety events corresponding to one or more of the first safety event and the second safety event occur at a plurality of electronic devices.

9. A method, comprising:

monitoring safety event data of a plurality of electronic devices via an electronic communication network;

receiving first health safety event data from a first electronic device of the plurality of electronic devices via the electronic communication network, wherein the first health safety event data comprises:

a unique identifier (UID) for a first user of the first electronic device;

first measurement data corresponding to physiological measurements ta ken from the first user; and

first health condition data corresponding to a health condition of the first user and associated with the first measurement data;

determining that a first safety event has occurred at the first electronic device of the plurality of electronic devices based on the first health safety event data;

determining that a second safety event has occurred at a second electronic device of the plurality of electronic devices based on second health safety event data, wherein the second set of health safety event data comprises:

second measurement data corresponding to physiological measurements taken from a second user; and

second health condition data corresponding to a health condition of the second user and associated with the second measurement data;

in response to determining that the second safety event corresponds to the first safety event, determining a prediction that a third safety event will occur at a third electronic device of the plurality of electronic devices based on the first health safety event data and the second health safety event data, wherein the third safety event will occur at a different location than the first safety event and the second safety event;

determining a cause of the first safety event or the second safety event; and

communicating the cause of the first safety event or the second safety event to the third electronic device.

10. The method of claim 9 , wherein identifying the first safety event comprises:

comparing the first safety event to a database of safety events; and

identifying another safety event that corresponds to the first safety event in response to determining:

a parameter of the first safety event matches a parameter of the other safety event; or

the first safety event and the other safety event comprise occurrences of a same safety event.

11. The method of claim 9 , further comprising:

generating a safety notification indicating an occurrence of at least one of the first safety event or the second safety event; and

sending the safety notification to one or more of the plurality of electronic devices.

12. The method of claim 11 , wherein the safety notification indicates a health issue associated with one or more of the first safety event or the second safety event.

13. The method of claim 9 , further comprising determining a cause of the first safety event or the second safety event by identifying a physiological parameter that is common to a safety event in a safety event database and the first safety event or the second safety event.

14. A non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising instructions configured to cause a computing system to perform operations, the operations comprising:

monitoring a plurality of users, wherein monitoring the plurality of users comprises:

receiving monitoring data from electronic devices associated with the plurality of users via a network; and

detecting health safety events pertaining to respective users of the plurality of users based on monitoring data received from electronic devices associated with the respective users, wherein the health safety events occur separately from each other;

determining that a portion of users are experiencing similar health safety events in response to identifying a group of correlated health safety events, wherein identifying the group of correlated health safety events comprises at least one of:

identifying two or more of the detected health safety events having a same health safety event type; or

identifying two or more of the detected health safety events having one or more matching health safety event parameters, the matching health safety event parameters comprising physiological parameters;

in response to the portion of users experiencing the similar health safety events, determining a prediction that a health safety event corresponding to the similar health safety events will occur for one or more users of another portion of the plurality of users;

determining a cause of the correlated health safety events; and

communicating the cause of the correlated health safety events to an electronic device associated with a user of the other portion of the plurality of users.

The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 14 , wherein the operations further comprise sending a safety notification to a selected electronic device, the safety notification comprising an indication that one or more of the plurality of users are experiencing similar health safety events, wherein the safety notification identifies users that have experienced the similar health safety events.

16. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the safety notification indicates a location at which one or more of the plurality of users experienced the similar health safety events.

17. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the safety notification comprises monitoring data pertaining to one or more of the plurality of users.

18. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 14 , wherein the operations further comprise determining a cause of the detected health safety events by matching data in a safety event database associated with the cause to the monitoring data.
