Abstract

A central management interface is provided for a plurality of different storage clusters of different storage domains. An indication of one of the plurality of different storage clusters is received. A native user interface version of the indicated storage cluster is determined. The determined native user interface version is loaded to provide a native management interface of the indicated storage cluster within a user interface context of the central management interface.

Claims (33)

1. A method, comprising:

providing, by a processor, a central management interface for a plurality of different storage clusters of different storage domains;

receiving, at the processor, an indication of one of the plurality of different storage clusters;

determining, by the processor, a native user interface version of the indicated storage cluster; and

loading, by the processor, the determined native user interface version to provide a remote native management interface of the indicated storage cluster within a user interface context of the central management interface.

2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the central management interface is a user interface provided by a cloud service system.

3. The method of claim 2 , wherein the cloud service system is configured to store user interface code associated with different native user interface versions of the different storage clusters.

4. The method of claim 3 , wherein the cloud service system is configured to store a data structure that associates a storage cluster with a corresponding version of a native user interface.

5. The method of claim 4 , wherein determining the native user interface version of the indicated storage cluster includes inspecting the data structure to determine the native user interface version corresponding to the indicated storage cluster.

6. The method of claim 1 , wherein loading the determined native user interface version includes providing access to the determined native user interface version via the central management interface.

7. The method of claim 6 , wherein access is provided via an inline frame of the central management interface.

8. The method of claim 7 , further comprising receiving one or more commands associated with the indicated storage cluster via the central management interface.

9. The method of claim 8 , further comprising providing the one or more commands to the indicated storage cluster.

10. The method of claim 9 , wherein the indicated storage cluster is configured to perform the one or more commands in response to receiving the one or more commands.

11. A system, comprising:

a processor configured to:

provide a central management interface for a plurality of different storage clusters of different storage domains;

receive an indication of one of the plurality of different storage clusters;

determining a native user interface version of the indicated storage cluster; and

load the determined native user interface version to provide a native management interface of the indicated storage cluster within a user interface context of the central management interface; and

a memory coupled to the processor and configured to provide the processor with instructions.

12. The system of claim 11 , wherein the central management interface is a user interface provided by a cloud service system.

13. The system of claim 12 , wherein the cloud service system is configured to store user interface code associated with different native user interface versions of the different storage clusters.

14. The system of claim 13 , wherein the cloud service system is configured to store a data structure that associates a storage cluster with a corresponding version of a native user interface.

15. The system of claim 14 , wherein to determine the native user interface version of the indicated storage cluster, the processor is further configured to inspect the data structure to determine the native user interface version corresponding to the indicated storage cluster.

16. The system of claim 15 , wherein to load the native user interface version, the processor is further configured to provide access to the determined native user interface version via the central management interface.

17. The system of claim 16 , wherein access is provided via an inline frame of the central management interface.

18. The system of claim 11 , wherein the processor is further configured to receive one or more commands associated with the indicated storage cluster via the central management interface.

19. A non-transitory computer readable storage medium comprising computer instructions, which when executed by a processor, cause the processor to:

provide a central management interface for a plurality of different storage clusters of different storage domains;

receive an indication of one of the plurality of different storage clusters;

determine a native user interface version of the indicated storage cluster; and

load the determined native user interface version to provide a native management interface of the indicated storage cluster within a user interface context of the central management interface.
