Abstract

An electronic scented candle is described that includes a flame piece, a shell including an installation chamber, a fragrance container that is removably positioned inside the installation chamber, a scent chamber, and a liquid suction channel positioned within the fragrance container. One end of the liquid suction channel protrudes from the fragrance container into the scent chamber and anther end of the liquid suction channel is positioned within the fragrance container to draw a fragrance material from the fragrance container to the scent chamber. A scent outlet in communication with the scent chamber allows scent from the chamber to reach an external environment of the electronic scented candle, and an air inlet in communication with the scent chamber directs air from the external environment to the scent chamber. A heating device heats the content of the scent chamber to allow rapid dissemination of the scent chamber into an external environment.

Claims (31)

1. An electronic scented candle, comprising:

a shell;

a flame element resembling a real candle flame;

a fragrance container positioned within the shell;

a scent chamber coupled to the fragrance container via a liquid suction channel positioned within the fragrance container, the liquid suction channel having a first end that protrudes from the fragrance container into the scent chamber and a second end having an opening positioned inside the fragrance container to allow a fragrance material to be drawn from the fragrance container to the scent chamber;

an air inlet connected to the scent chamber to allow air to be directed into the scent chamber;

a heater configured to provide thermal energy to the scent chamber to vaporize part of the fragrance material in the scent chamber; and

a scent outlet connected to the scent chamber to allow the vaporized fragrance material to leave the scent chamber.

2. The electronic scented candle of claim 1 , wherein the shell comprises an opening to allow the flame element to protrude from the shell, the opening further allows the vaporized fragrance material to exit the electronic scented candle.

3. The electronic scented candle of claim 1 , wherein the shell comprises a high temperature-resistance material.

4. The electronic scented candle of claim 1 , wherein the scent outlet has a funnel shape.

5. The electronic scented candle of claim 1 , wherein the heater is configured to operate at a temperature between 150 to 350° C.

6. The electronic scented candle of claim 1 , wherein the liquid suction channel comprises an absorbent material to facilitate drawing of the fragrance material into the scent chamber.

7. The electronic scented candle of claim 6 , wherein the absorbent material is positioned in a first section of the liquid suction channel.

8. The electronic scented candle of claim 7 , wherein the heater comprises a heating wire that is wound at the first section to allow rapid absorption of the fragrance material by the absorbent material.

9. The electronic scented candle of claim 1 , further comprising:

an air supply assembly configured to direct an air flow to the air inlet.

10. The electronic scented candle of claim 9 , wherein the air supply assembly is further configured to direct an air flow towards the scent outlet.

11. The electronic scented candle of claim 9 , wherein the air supply assembly comprises a fan.

12. The electronic scented candle of claim 9 , wherein the air supply assembly is configured to operate for a duration of time after the heater is deactivated.

13. The electronic scented candle of claim 1 , further comprising:

a window positioned on the shell to indicate an amount of the fragrance material in the fragrance chamber.

14. The electronic scented candle of claim 13 , wherein the window has a shape that includes one of a rectangle, a rhombus, an ellipse, a water droplet, or a combination thereof.

15. The electronic scented candle of claim 13 , further comprising:

one or more light sources positioned in proximity to the window, wherein at least part of light emanating from the one or more light sources is visible from outside of the electronic scented candle through the window.

16. The electronic scented candle of claim 15 , wherein the one or more light sources are capable of producing light with different colors.

17. The electronic scented candle of claim 1 , further comprising:

a tilt sensor configured to deactivate the heater in case the electronic scented candle is tilted by a predetermined angle.

18. The electronic scented candle of claim 1 , further comprising a charging base that accommodates a placement of a base of the electronic scented candle thereon, the charging base configured to recharge one or more batteries of the electronic scented candle.

19. The electronic scented candle of claim 1 , further including one or more electrically conductive elements configured to connect the fragrance container to an electrical circuit.

20. The electronic scented candle of claim 19 , further including a non-conductive bracket positioned to isolate the one or more electrically conductive elements from the fragrance material inside of the fragrance container.
