Claims (27)

1. A power hub, comprising:

a base assembly of the power hub configured to abut a floor surface;

a shaft coupled at a lower end to the base assembly;

a handle coupled to an upper end of the shaft; and

an electrical receptacle block housed in the upper end of the shaft, below the handle, wherein the electrical receptacle block is configured to receive an electrical plug, and wherein the electrical receptacle block includes one or more electrical receptacles located in a vertical surface of the electrical block.

2. The power hub of claim 1 , wherein the base assembly includes a relief configured to receive a power cord therein in a coiled configuration.

3. The power hub of claim 1 , wherein the base assembly further comprises a neck.

4. The power hub of claim 3 , wherein the shaft lower end is coupled to the neck.

5. The power hub of claim 1 , wherein the base assembly is weighted.

6. The power hub of claim 5 , wherein the base assembly comprises an upper member comprising a first material and a lower member comprising a second material.

7. The power hub of claim 6 , wherein the first material is different than the second material.

8. The power hub of claim 1 , wherein the handle comprises a loop having an obround shape.

9. The power hub of claim 8 , wherein the handle comprises plastic material.

10. The power hub of claim 1 , wherein the one or more electrical receptacles are located on a first side and a second side that is substantially opposite the first side.

11. The power hub of claim 10 , wherein the one or more electrical receptacles on the first and second sides are configured as NEMA receptacles.

12. A power hub, comprising:

a base assembly of the power hub configured to abut a floor surface;

a shaft coupled at a lower end to the base assembly;

a handle extending from an upper end of the shaft; and

an electrical receptacle block housed in an upper end of the shaft, where the handle is separate from the shaft and the electrical receptacle block, wherein the electrical receptacle block is configured to receive an electrical plug, and wherein the electrical receptacle block comprises one or more electrical receptacles located in a vertical surface of the electrical receptacle block.

13. The power hub of claim 12 , wherein the electrical receptacle block comprises at least one receptacle positioned below the handle.

14. The power hub of claim 12 , wherein the base assembly further comprises a neck.

15. The power hub of claim 14 , wherein the shaft lower end is coupled to the neck.

16. The power hub of claim 12 , wherein the base assembly is weighted.

17. The power hub of claim 16 , wherein the base assembly comprises an upper member comprising a first material and a lower member comprising a second material.

18. The power hub of claim 12 , wherein the electrical receptacle block comprises one or more electrical receptacles on a first side and one or more electrical receptacles on a second side that is substantially opposite the first side.

19. The power hub of claim 18 , wherein the electrical receptacle block comprises one or more NEMA receptacles.
