Abstract

The present technology relates an information processing device that includes an acquisition unit that acquires a recognition result indicating at least one of a user movement or state recognized by a recognition unit utilizing a detection result from one or a plurality of sensors, and a control unit that, in a case of determining that the recognition result indicates a specific user movement or state, controls a degree of reflection in which information related to the specific user movement or state is reflected in notification information that transmits the information related to the specific user movement or state to a target different from the user, in accordance with the target.

Claims (68)

1. A display control apparatus, comprising

at least one processor configured to:

acquire, from one of a motion sensor or a camera, a detection result indicating a real gaze direction of a first user in a real space;

control a first display of the first user to reflect the real gaze direction in a virtual gaze direction of a first avatar in a first image of a virtual space;

reflect, via a server, the virtual gaze direction of the first avatar in a second image of the virtual space, wherein the second image is displayed by a second display of a second user different from the first user;

determine, based on a setting data associated with the virtual space, whether a relationship between the first user and the second user is a close relationship;

set a degree of reflection of the virtual gaze direction in the second image relatively lower based on the determination that the relationship between the first user and the second user is not the close relationship; and

set the degree of reflection of the virtual gaze direction in the second image relatively higher based on the determination that the relationship between the first user and the second user is the close relationship.

2. The display control apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein

the virtual space represents a virtual space of an online game,

the first display is a head mounted display, and

the motion sensor is built in the head mounted display.

3. A display control method, comprising:

acquiring, from one of a motion sensor or a camera, a detection result indicating a real gaze direction of a first user in a real space;

controlling a first display of the first user to reflect the real gaze direction in a virtual gaze direction of a first avatar in a first image of a virtual space;

reflecting, via a server, the virtual gaze direction of the first avatar in a second image of the virtual space, wherein the second image is displayed by a second display of a second user different from the first user;

determining, based on a setting data associated with the virtual space, whether a relationship between the first user and the second user is a close relationship;

setting a degree of reflection of the virtual gaze direction in the second image relatively lower based on the determination that the relationship between the first user and the second user is not the close relationship; and

setting the degree of reflection of the virtual gaze direction in the second image relatively higher based on the determination that the relationship between the first user and the second user is the close relationship.

4. A non-transitory computer-readable medium having stored thereon, computer-executable instructions which, when executed by a computer, cause the computer to execute operations, the operations comprising:

acquiring, from one of a motion sensor or a camera, a detection result indicating a real gaze direction of a first user in a real space;

controlling a first display of the first user to reflect the real gaze direction in a virtual gaze direction of a first avatar in a first image of a virtual space;

reflecting, via a server, the virtual gaze direction of the first avatar in a second image of the virtual space, wherein the second image is displayed by a second display of a second user different from the first user;

determining, based on a setting data associated with the virtual space, whether a relationship between the first user and the second user is a close relationship;

setting a degree of reflection of the virtual gaze direction in the second image relatively lower based on the determination that the relationship between the first user and the second user is not the close relationship; and

setting the degree of reflection of the virtual gaze direction in the second image relatively higher based on the determination that the relationship between the first user and the second user is the close relationship.

5. The display control apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the setting data represents a relationship between the first avatar and a second avatar representing the second user.

6. The display control apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein

the setting data represents attribute information of each of the first user and the second user, and

the attribute information corresponds to at least one of an age, a gender, or a total execution time of an application for the virtual space.

7. The display control apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the at least one processor is further configured to:

determine whether the virtual gaze direction is moved toward a second avatar representing the second user in the virtual space; and

decrease the degree of reflection of the virtual gaze direction based on

the determination that the relationship between the first user and the second user is not the close relationship, and

the determination that the virtual gaze direction is moved toward the second avatar.

8. The display control apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein

the at least one processor is further configured to control transmission of notification information based on the degree of reflection, and

the notification information includes information associated with at least one of a user movement or a user state.

9. The display control method according to claim 3 , wherein

the virtual space represents a virtual space of an online game,

the first display is a head mounted display, and

the motion sensor is built in the head mounted display.

10. The display control method according to claim 3 , wherein the setting data represents a relationship between the first avatar and a second avatar associated with the second user.

11. The display control method according to claim 3 , wherein

the setting data represents attribute information of each of the first user and the second user, and

the attribute information corresponds to at least one of an age, a gender, or a total execution time of an application for the virtual space.

12. The display control method according to claim 3 , further comprising:

determining whether the virtual gaze direction is moved toward a second avatar associated with the second user in the virtual space; and

decreasing the degree of reflection of the virtual gaze direction based on

the determination that the relationship between the first user and the second user is not the close relationship, and

the determination that the virtual gaze direction is moved toward the second avatar.

13. The display control method according to claim 3 , further comprising controlling transmission of notification information based on the degree of reflection, wherein the notification information includes information associated with at least one of a user movement or a user state.

14. The non-transitory computer-readable medium according to claim 4 , wherein

the virtual space represents a virtual space of an online game,

the first display is a head mounted display, and

the motion sensor is in the head mounted display.

15. The non-transitory computer-readable medium according to claim 4 , wherein the setting data represents a relationship between the first avatar and a second avatar associated with the second user.

16. The non-transitory computer-readable medium according to claim 4 , wherein

the setting data represents attribute information of each of the first user and the second user, and
