Abstract

Provided are a wireless charging and communication board, and a wireless charging and communication device, the wireless charging and communication board including: a soft magnetic layer; a polymeric material layer arranged on one surface and the other surface of the soft magnetic layer and extending longer than an exposed portion of the soft magnetic layer; and a coil pattern arranged on the polymeric material layer.

Claims (41)

1. A board provided for wireless charging and near field communication, comprising:

a first polymeric material layer;

a soft magnetic layer provided on the first polymeric material layer;

a second polymeric material layer provided arranged on the soft magnetic layer; and

a coil unit provided on the second polymeric material layer,

wherein the soft magnetic layer includes a first soft magnetic layer and a second soft magnetic layer configured to surround a side of the first soft magnetic layer,

wherein the coil unit includes a wireless charging coil pattern including a plurality of patterns and a near field communication coil pattern including a plurality of patterns and configured to surround a side of the wireless charging coil pattern,

wherein the first soft magnetic layer and the second soft magnetic layer include Fe,

wherein each of the first polymeric material layer, the soft magnetic layer, and the second polymeric material layer includes a through hole,

wherein a diameter of the through hole of the soft magnetic layer differs from a diameter of the through hole of the second polymeric material layer,

wherein the through hole of the first polymeric material layer, the through hole of the soft magnetic layer, and the through hole of the second polymeric material layer form a through hole overlapping region at least partially overlapping each other, and

wherein the through hole overlapping region is provided outside of an outermost pattern of the plurality of patterns included in the wireless charging coil pattern.

2. The board of claim 1 , wherein the diameter of the through hole of the soft magnetic layer is larger than the diameter of the through hole of the second polymeric material layer.

3. The board of claim 1 , wherein the second polymeric material layer includes an extending portion that extends further than the side of the soft magnetic layer.

The board of claim 3 , wherein the first polymeric material layer includes an extending portion that extends further than the side of the soft magnetic layer, and a length (l) of the extending portion of at least one of the first polymeric material layer and the second polymeric material layer and a thickness (h) of the soft magnetic layer have a relation of a following equation, wherein A represents a constant of 0.6 to 10:

5. The board of claim 4 , wherein the extending portion of the first polymeric material layer and the extending portion of the second polymeric material layer are connected to each other.

6. The board of claim 1 , wherein an adhesive layer is further provided between the second polymeric material layer and the coil unit.

7. The board of claim 1 , wherein the wireless charging coil pattern is provided on the first soft magnetic layer and the near field communication coil pattern is provided on the second soft magnetic layer.

8. The board of claim 7 , further comprising a lead frame connected to the coil unit.

9. The board of claim 7 , the soft magnetic layer further includes at least one of Ni, Co, Mn, Al, Zn, Cu, Ba, Ti, Sn, Sr, P, B, N, C, W, Cr, Bi, Li, Y and Cd.

10. The board of claim 1 , wherein any one of the first polymeric material layer or the second polymeric material layer comprises at least one of polyethylene, polyacrylic, polyimide, polyamide, and polyurethane.

11. The board of claim 1 , wherein the through hole overlapping region is provided between the outermost pattern of the wireless charging coil pattern and an outermost pattern of the plurality of patterns included in the near field communication coil pattern.

12. The board of claim 1 , further comprising an adhesive layer provided between the soft magnetic layer and the second polymeric material layer.

13. The board of claim 12 , the adhesive layer includes a through hole, and at least a portion of the through hole of the adhesive layer overlaps with the through hole overlapping region.

14. The board of claim 1 , the through hole overlapping region is formed in the first soft magnetic layer.

15. The board of claim 1 , the through hole of the soft magnetic layer is a hole for alignment upon manufacturing the board.

16. A portable terminal comprising:

a housing, and

a board provided for wireless charging and near field communication and positioned in the housing, the board including:

a first polymeric material layer;

a soft magnetic layer provided on the first polymeric material layer;

a second polymeric material layer provided on the soft magnetic layer; and

a coil unit provided on the second polymeric material layer,

wherein the soft magnetic layer includes a first soft magnetic layer and a second soft magnetic layer configured to surround a side of the first soft magnetic layer,

wherein the coil unit includes a wireless charging coil pattern including a plurality of patterns and a near field communication coil pattern including a plurality of patterns and configured to surround a side of the wireless charging coil pattern,

wherein the first soft magnetic layer and the second soft magnetic layer include Fe,

wherein each of the first polymeric material layer, the soft magnetic layer and the second polymeric material layer includes a through hole,

wherein a diameter of the through hole of the soft magnetic layer differs from a diameter of the through hole of the second polymeric material layer,

wherein the through hole of the first polymeric material layer, the through hole of the soft magnetic layer, and the through hole of the second polymeric material layer form a through hole overlapping region at least partially overlapping each other, and

wherein the through hole overlapping region is provided outside of an outermost pattern of the plurality of patterns included in the wireless charging coil pattern.
