TISSUE SHAPING DEVICE
Devices for treating mitral valve regurgitation, including a distal expandable anchor, a proximal expandable anchor, and a fixed length connecting member extending from the proximal expandable anchor to the distal expandable anchor, where at least one of the proximal and distal anchors includes first and second arm segments that extend from one end of the device toward the connecting member and the other anchor when in a collapsed delivery configuration, and where the at least one of the proximal and distal anchors that comprises the first and second arm segments has an expanded configuration in which the first and second arm segments extend radially outwardly such that the first and second arm segments extend away from one another toward the connector, and meet one another at a location axially spaced from the end of the device.

20 . A device for treating mitral valve regurgitation, comprising:
a distal expandable anchor;
a proximal expandable anchor axially spaced from the distal expandable anchor; and
a connecting member permanently attached to the distal and proximal expandable anchors and extending from the distal expandable anchor to the proximal expandable anchor;
the connecting member comprising a spring with a coiled configuration.
21 . The device of claim 20 , wherein the distal expandable anchor is adapted to be self-deploying upon release in a coronary sinus.
22 . The system of claim 20 wherein the proximal expandable anchor is adapted to be self-deploying upon release in a coronary sinus.
23 . The system of claim 20 , wherein the connecting member extends from the distal expandable anchor at a location wherein first and second arms segments of the distal expandable anchor meet one another.
24 . The system of claim 20 , wherein the connecting member extends from the proximal expandable anchor at a location wherein first and second arms segments of the proximal expandable anchor meet one another.
25 . A method of minimally-invasively treating mitral valve regurgitation, the method comprising:
advancing an intraluminal cardiac device in a collapsed configuration into a coronary sinus, the intraluminal cardiac device comprising a distal expandable anchor, a proximal expandable anchor, and a connecting member permanently attached to the distal and proximal expandable anchors and extending from the distal expandable anchor to the proximal expandable anchor, the connecting member comprising a spring with a coiled configuration;
retracting a catheter proximally within the coronary sinus to cause the distal expandable anchor to self-expand within the coronary sinus;
retracting the catheter proximally within the coronary sinus to expose the connecting member comprising the spring with the coiled configuration;
retracting the catheter proximally within the coronary sinus to cause the proximal expandable anchor to self-expand within the coronary sinus; and
releasing the intraluminal cardiac device from a delivery device,
the connecting member applying tension on the distal expandable anchor and the proximal expandable member after releasing the intraluminal cardiac device from the delivery device.
