Abstract

The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical combination comprising a first active ingredient which is ponesimod and a second active ingredient which is selected from the group consisting of teriflunomide and leflunomide.

Claims (11)

1. A pharmaceutical combination comprising a first active ingredient which is ponesimod and a second active ingredient which is teriflunomide, wherein

the first active ingredient and the second active ingredient are in synergistically effective amounts for treating severity of a disease or disorder associated with a lymphocyte-mediated activated immune system; wherein the synergistically effective amount of the first active ingredient is less than 20 mg and the synergistically effective amount of the second active ingredient is less than 14 mg.

2. The pharmaceutical combination according to claim 1 , wherein the first and the second active ingredient are contained in a single pharmaceutical composition.

3. The pharmaceutical combination according to claim 1 , wherein the first and the second active ingredient are contained in separated pharmaceutical compositions.

4. A method for the treatment of a disease or disorder associated with a lymphocyte-mediated activated immune system, the method comprising administering a pharmaceutically effective amount of a pharmaceutical combination according to claim 1 to a subject in need thereof.

5. A method for the treatment of multiple sclerosis, the method comprising administering a pharmaceutically effective amount of a pharmaceutical combination according to claim 1 to a subject in need thereof.

A method for the treatment of a disease or disorder associated with a lymphocyte-mediated activated immune system, the method comprising administering a pharmaceutically effective amount of a pharmaceutical combination according to claim 1 to a subject in need thereof, wherein the pharmaceutical combination further comprises at least one therapeutically inert excipient.

A method for the treatment of a disease or disorder associated with a lymphocyte-mediated activated immune system, the method comprising administering a pharmaceutically effective amount of a pharmaceutical combination according to claim 1 to a subject in need thereof, wherein the pharmaceutical combination further comprises at least two therapeutically inert excipients.

8. The method according to claim 6 , wherein the disease or disorder is multiple sclerosis.

9. The method according to claim 7 , wherein the disease or disorder is multiple sclerosis.

10. The pharmaceutical combination of claim 1 wherein the disease or disorder associated with a lymphocyte-mediated activated immune system is multiple sclerosis.
