A new and distinct cultivar of Dahlia plant named ‘Dodahtempreviol’, characterized by its upright and uniformly mounding plant habit; relatively small dark greyed green-colored leaves; early and freely flowering habit; medium-sized inflorescences with dark red purple-colored ray florets; and good postproduction longevity.
