Abstract

Examples disclosed herein relate to a gaming device including a memory, a processor, a display, and a call tower including a first plate, a second plate, a third plate, and a call tower display screen and/or a plurality of external lights located at an outer area of a front surface of the gaming device, forming a u-shape with a left side, a right side, and a bottom each comprising a light column. The gaming device includes a processor which presents a game via the display.

Claims (25)

1. An electronic gaming device comprising:

a gaming cabinet having a front and a back;

at least one display device disposed on the front of the gaming cabinet, said at least one display device having a first side and a second side;

a plurality of external lights located at an outer area of said front of said cabinet, said plurality of external lights comprising at least a first area of lights located adjacent to at least a portion of said first side of said at least one display device and a second area of lights located adjacent to at least a portion of said second side of said at least one display device;

a call tower comprising at least one display element; and

a processor, said processor configured to cause said plurality of external lights and call tower to display at least one image which moves between said plurality of external lights and said call tower.

2. The electronic gaming device in accordance with claim 1 , wherein said processor causes said at least one image to be displayed by said plurality of external lights and then said call tower.

3. The electronic gaming device in accordance with claim 1 , wherein said at least one display element comprises a plate.

4. The electronic gaming device in accordance with claim 3 , wherein said plate comprises an image plate.

5. The electronic gaming device in accordance with claim 3 , wherein said plate comprises a light plate.

6. The electronic gaming device in accordance with claim 1 , wherein said at least one display element comprises a plurality of plates and said processor is configured to cause said image to be displayed by each of said plurality of plates.

7. The electronic gaming device in accordance with claim 1 , wherein said at least one display element comprises a plurality of plates and said plates are spaced apart from one another.

The electronic gaming device in accordance with claim 7 , wherein said plates are cantilevered from a support column extending upwardly from a top of the gaming device, each of the plurality of plates being connected to the support column at a rear side and extending towards said front of said gaming cabinet.

9. The electronic gaming device in accordance with claim 1 , wherein said plurality of external lights further includes a third area of lights connecting said first and second areas of lights.

The electronic gaming device in accordance with claim 1 , further comprising an illuminated strip, at least a first portion of said illuminated strip located between said first side of said at least one display device and said first area of lights and at least a second portion of said illuminated strip located between said second side of said at least one display device and said second area of lights.

11. The electronic gaming device in accordance with claim 10 wherein said illuminated strip further comprises a third portion which extends along a top of said at least one display device between said display device and said call tower.

12. The electronic gaming device in accordance with claim 1 wherein a stopping position of said at least one image is associated with at least one award.

13. The electronic gaming device in accordance with claim 12 , wherein said at least one award comprises a payout amount associated with an outcome of a base game presented at said electronic gaming device.

14. The electronic gaming device in accordance with claim 13 , wherein said at least one award comprises a bonus award.

The electronic gaming device in accordance with claim 1 wherein said at least one display element comprise a first plate and a second plate and wherein said processor causes said at least one image to be displayed by said plurality of external lights and then either or both said first plate and said second plate, wherein when a stopping position of said image is said first plate, said processor generating a first payout and when the stopping position of said image is said second plate, said processor generating a second payout.

16. The electronic gaming device in accordance with claim 15 wherein said first and second payouts comprise multipliers of a base game award.

17. The electronic gaming device in accordance with claim 1 wherein said at least one display element comprises a projector and said call tower projects said at least one image onto a secondary surface.

18. The electronic gaming device in accordance with claim 1 wherein said at least one display element comprises a video display and said call tower displays said at least one image on said video display.

19. The electronic gaming device in accordance with claim 1 wherein said plurality of external lights comprise at least one light wall.

20. The electronic gaming device in accordance with claim 1 wherein said at least one display element comprises a plurality of plates, wherein said at least one image is formed from a composite of image information displayed by said plurality of plates.
