Abstract

A system, method, and computer-readable medium are disclosed for generating a prepopulated adaptive trust profile via an adaptive trust profile operation. In various embodiments the adaptive trust profile operation includes: receiving a request to generate a prepopulated adaptive trust profile for a target entity; accessing adaptive trust profile data, the adaptive trust profile data comprising a plurality of adaptive trust profiles; identifying an adaptive trust profile relevant to the entity from the plurality of adaptive trust profiles, the adaptive trust profile relevant to the entity comprising at least one substantively similar entity characteristic to an entity characteristic of the target entity; and, generating an adaptive trust profile for the target entity using the adaptive trust profile relevant to the target entity.

Claims (52)

1. A computer-implementable method for prepopulating an adaptive trust profile, comprising:

receiving a request to generate a prepopulated adaptive trust profile for a target entity;

accessing adaptive trust profile data via an adaptive trust profile system, the adaptive trust profile system executing on a hardware processor of an information handling system, the adaptive trust profile data comprising a plurality of adaptive trust profiles, each of the plurality of adaptive trust profiles comprising a collection of information describing an identify of a corresponding entity and an associated behavior of an associated entity;

identifying an adaptive trust profile relevant to the target entity from the plurality of adaptive trust profiles, the adaptive trust profile relevant to the target entity comprising a collection of information describing an identity of the target entity and an associated behavior of the target entity, the adaptive trust profile relevant to the target entity comprising at least one common entity characteristic to an entity characteristic of an adaptive trust profile from the plurality of adaptive trust profiles; and,

generating an adaptive trust profile for the target entity using the adaptive trust profile relevant to the target entity the adaptive trust profile for the target entity comprising a collection of information describing an identity of the target entity and an associated behavior of the target entity, the adaptive trust profile for the target entity enabling the adaptive trust profile system to derive an inference of an intent regarding the target entity.

2. The method of claim 1 , wherein:

the generating the adaptive trust profile comprise at least one of generating a modified adaptive trust profile and an entity-specific adaptive trust profile.

3. The method of claim 1 , wherein:

the generating the adaptive trust profile comprises generating a prepopulated adaptive trust profile.

4. The method of claim 3 , wherein:

the prepopulated adaptive trust profile comprises at least one of a universal prepopulated adaptive trust profile, a segmented prepopulated adaptive trust profile, an entity-pertinent prepopulated adaptive trust profile and an entity-specific prepopulated adaptive trust profile.

5. The method of claim 1 , wherein:

the entity characteristic comprises at least one of an aspect of a user entity profile, an aspect of a non-user entity profile and an entity state.

6. The method of claim 5 , wherein:

the aspect of the user entity profile comprises at least one of a user profile attribute, a user behavior factor and a user mindset factor and the aspect of the non-user profile comprises a non-user profile attribute.

7. A system comprising:

a processor;

a data bus coupled to the processor; and

a non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium embodying computer program code, the non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium being coupled to the data bus, the computer program code interacting with a plurality of computer operations and comprising instructions executable by the processor and configured for:

receiving a request to generate a prepopulated adaptive trust profile for a target entity;

accessing adaptive trust profile data via an adaptive trust profile system, the adaptive trust profile system executing on a hardware processor of an information handling system, the adaptive trust profile data comprising a plurality of adaptive trust profiles, each of the plurality of adaptive trust profiles comprising a collection of information describing an identify of a corresponding entity and an associated behavior of an associated entity;

identifying an adaptive trust profile relevant to the target entity from the plurality of adaptive trust profiles, the adaptive trust profile relevant to the target entity comprising a collection of information describing an identity of the target entity and an associated behavior of the target entity, the adaptive trust profile relevant to the target entity comprising at least one common entity characteristic to an entity characteristic of an adaptive trust profile from the plurality of adaptive trust profiles; and,

generating an adaptive trust profile for the target entity using the adaptive trust profile relevant to the target entity the adaptive trust profile for the target entity comprising a collection of information describing an identity of the target entity and an associated behavior of the target entity, the adaptive trust profile for the target entity enabling the adaptive trust profile system to derive an inference of an intent regarding the target entity.

8. The system of claim 7 , wherein:

the generating the adaptive trust profile comprise at least one of generating a modified adaptive trust profile and an entity-specific adaptive trust profile.

9. The system of claim 8 , wherein:

the generating the adaptive trust profile comprises generating a prepopulated adaptive trust profile.

10. The system of claim 9 , wherein:

the prepopulated adaptive trust profile comprises at least one of a universal prepopulated adaptive trust profile, a segmented prepopulated adaptive trust profile, an entity-pertinent prepopulated adaptive trust profile and an entity-specific prepopulated adaptive trust profile.

11. The system of claim 7 , wherein:

the entity characteristic comprises at least one of an aspect of a user entity profile, an aspect of a non-user entity profile and an entity state.

12. The system of claim 11 , wherein:

the aspect of the user entity profile comprises at least one of a user profile attribute, a user behavior factor and a user mindset factor and the aspect of the non-user profile comprises a non-user profile attribute.

13. A non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium embodying computer program code, the computer program code comprising computer executable instructions configured for:

receiving a request to generate a prepopulated adaptive trust profile for a target entity;

accessing adaptive trust profile data via an adaptive trust profile system, the adaptive trust profile system executing on a hardware processor of an information handling system, the adaptive trust profile data comprising a plurality of adaptive trust profiles, each of the plurality of adaptive trust profiles comprising a collection of information describing an identify of a corresponding entity and an associated behavior of an associated entity;

identifying an adaptive trust profile relevant to the target entity from the plurality of adaptive trust profiles, the adaptive trust profile relevant to the target entity comprising a collection of information describing an identity of the target entity and an associated behavior of the target entity, the adaptive trust profile relevant to the target entity comprising at least one common entity characteristic to an entity characteristic of an adaptive trust profile from the plurality of adaptive trust profiles; and,

generating an adaptive trust profile for the target entity using the adaptive trust profile relevant to the target entity the adaptive trust profile for the target entity comprising a collection of information describing an identity of the target entity and an associated behavior of the target entity, the adaptive trust profile for the target entity enabling the adaptive trust profile system to derive an inference of an intent regarding the target entity.

14. The non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium of claim 13 , wherein:

the generating the adaptive trust profile comprise at least one of generating a modified adaptive trust profile and an entity-specific adaptive trust profile.

15. The non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium of claim 13 , wherein:

the generating the adaptive trust profile comprises generating a prepopulated adaptive trust profile.

16. The non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium of claim 15 , wherein:

the prepopulated adaptive trust profile comprises at least one of a universal prepopulated adaptive trust profile, a segmented prepopulated adaptive trust profile, an entity-pertinent prepopulated adaptive trust profile and an entity-specific prepopulated adaptive trust profile.

17. The non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium of claim 13 , wherein:

the entity characteristic comprises at least one of an aspect of a user entity profile, an aspect of a non-user entity profile and an entity state.

18. The non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium of claim 17 , wherein:

the aspect of the user entity profile comprises at least one of a user profile attribute, a user behavior factor and a user mindset factor and the aspect of the non-user profile comprises a non-user profile attribute.

19. The non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium of claim 13 , wherein:

the computer executable instructions are deployable to a client system from a server system at a remote location.

20. The non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium of claim 13 , wherein:

the computer executable instructions are provided by a service provider to a user on an on-demand basis.
