2. The display configuration in accordance with claim 1 wherein said plurality of spaced apart lights of said first gaming machine comprise a plurality of generally horizontal rows of spaced apart lights and said plurality of spaced apart lights of said second gaming machine comprise a plurality of generally horizontal rows of spaced apart lights, one or more of said rows of lights of said first and second gaming machines aligned with one another.

3. The display configuration in accordance with claim 1 wherein said rows of lights of said first and second gaming machines each comprise at least 3 spaced apart lights.

4. The display configuration in accordance with claim 1 wherein said lights comprise LEDs.

5. The display configuration in accordance with claim 1 wherein said first and second gaming machines each comprise a deck area projecting from the front of the cabinet, the deck area being disposed below the top of the cabinet, wherein the electronic video display is located above the deck, wherein the cabinet further comprises a first cabinet portion located at a first side of the electronic video display and a second cabinet portion located at the second side of the electronic video display, wherein said plurality of lights comprises one or more lights at a top light area above said electronic video display, one or more lights at said first cabinet portion and one or more lights at said second cabinet portion.

6. The display configuration in accordance with claim 5 wherein said lights at said first and second cabinet portions are aligned in rows.

7. The display configuration in accordance with claim 1 wherein said one or more images comprise a geometric pattern.

8. The display configuration in accordance with claim 1 wherein said one or more images comprise an advertising message comprising one or more alphabetical letters.

9. The display configuration in accordance with claim 1 wherein said one or more images are configured as moving images by changing the one or more lights of said first and second gaming machines which are selectively illuminated.

10. The display configuration in accordance with claim 1 wherein said plurality of spaced apart lights of said first and second gaming machines each comprise a matrix of a plurality of rows and columns of individual lights, said plurality of rows of lights of first and second gaming machines aligned in a horizontal direction and said columns of lights oriented in a generally vertical direction, and wherein a spacing between an adjacent column of lights of said first gaming machine and an adjacent column of lights of said second gaming machine is generally equal to a spacing between said columns of individual lights of said first and second gaming machines.

11. A method of displaying information comprising the steps of:

providing a first gaming machine comprising:

a cabinet having a top and bottom, a first side and a second side, and a front and a rear;

an electronic video display located at said front of said cabinet;

a plurality of spaced apart lights at one or more locations of said front adjacent to said first side and at one or more locations of said front adjacent to said second side;

at least one player input device;

a memory device;

a controller; and

machine-readable code stored in said memory device executable by said controller to, in response to a wager placed by said player from a player credit balance via said at least one player input device, cause said main electronic video display to display wager game information;

providing a second gaming machine comprising:

a cabinet having a top and bottom, a first side and a second side, and a front and a rear;
