Abstract

Embodiments of the invention relate to a device including a pressure field stimulator and a roller massager. The pressure field stimulator has a cup and a driver, where the driver is configured to vary a volume of the cup. The roller massager comprises a flexible sheath and a roller disposed adjacent the flexible sheath. In some embodiments, an enclosure is disposed around the roller where the enclosure includes an opening through which the roller protrudes. In some embodiments, the roller is disposed on a threaded shaft, mechanically coupled to a motor, within the enclosure. The sheath is tightly bound to the enclosure such that the roller presses on the sheath.

Claims (45)

1. A device comprising:

a pressure field stimulator, wherein the pressure field stimulator comprises a cup, formed of a flexible resilient material, comprising a cavity, and a driver configured to vary a volume of the cup; and

a roller massager comprising:

an elastic sheath; and

a spherical object disposed adjacent the elastic sheath; and wherein the pressure field stimulator and the roller massager are connected to one another via a flexible arm.

2. The device of claim 1 , wherein the driver further comprises:

a plate disposed on an underside of the cup;

a cam disposed adjacent to the plate;

and a motor mechanically coupled to the cam.

3. The device of claim 2 ,

wherein the driver further comprises a motor shaft guide; and

wherein the plate comprises a cam strike.

4. The device of claim 2 , wherein the plate and the cam are not connected to one another.

5. The device of claim 1 , wherein the roller massager comprises:

an enclosure comprising an opening;

a threaded post disposed within the enclosure, the threaded post comprising a plurality of pitched threads;

the spherical object disposed within the plurality of pitched threads, wherein the spherical object protrudes outside the opening of the enclosure;

a motor configured to rotate the threaded post; and

wherein the elastic sheath is disposed at least over the opening.

6. The device of claim 5 , wherein the enclosure is formed with a curvature such that a path of the spherical object is along a plane parallel to a longitudinal axis of the threaded post.

7. The device of claim 5 , wherein the threaded post comprises one or more flattened portions of threads, and one or more non-flattened portions of threads.

8. The device of claim 1 , wherein the arm has a metal core and a flexible fill disposed there around.

9. The device of claim 8 , wherein the metal core is a set of flexible wires wrapped around one another.

10. The device of claim 8 ,

wherein the roller massager is disposed on a shaft,

wherein a first endplate is attached to a first end of the arm between the flexible fill and the pressure field stimulator, and

wherein a second endplate is attached to a second end of the arm between the flexible fill and the shaft.

11. The device of claim 1 , wherein the elastic sheath is disposed over the roller massager and the pressure field stimulator, and wherein the cup of the pressure field stimulator and the elastic sheath are integral with one another.

12. The device of claim 5 , wherein a path of the spherical object is linear.

13. The device of claim 5 , wherein a path of the spherical object is non-liner.

14. The device of claim 5 , wherein a path of the spherical object is S-shaped.

15. The device of claim 5 , wherein a second spherical object is disposed on the threaded post.

16. The device of claim 1 , wherein the pressure field stimulator is controllable by a remote control.

17. The device of claim 1 , wherein the roller massager is controllable by a remote control.

18. The device of claim 1 , wherein the spherical object is an object that travels along threads on a post.

19. A device comprising:

a pressure field stimulator; wherein the pressure field stimulator comprises a cup, formed of a flexible resilient material, comprising a cavity, and a driver configured to vary a volume of the cup; and

a roller massager comprising:

an elastic sheath; and

a spheroidal object disposed adjacent the elastic sheath; and wherein the pressure field stimulator and the roller massager are connected to one another via a flexible arm.

20. A device comprising:

a pressure field stimulator; wherein the pressure field stimulator comprises a cup, formed of a flexible resilient material, comprising a cavity, and a driver configured to vary a volume of the cup; and

a roller massager comprising:

an elastic sheath; and

a rolling object disposed adjacent the elastic sheath; and wherein the pressure field stimulator and the roller massager are connected to one another via a flexible arm.
