Real-time voice paging voice augmented caller ID/ring tone alias
A communication device and method can include one or more processors operatively coupled to memory and an audible output device, where the one or more processors receive a call from a calling party that includes caller identification information and a voice paging message associated with the caller identification information, presenting the caller identification information, presenting the voice paging message as an alias of or to a ring tone or interleaved with the ring tone before the call from the calling party is answered or rejected. Other embodiments are disclosed.
1. A device, comprising:
a memory that stores instructions; and
a processor operatively coupled to the memory, wherein the processor executes the instructions to perform operations comprising:
analyzing a characteristic of caller identification information associated with a call, a real time voice paging message associated with the call, or a combination thereof, to determine whether to route the real time voice paging message to a called party;
presenting, based on the analyzing and during the call, the real time voice paging message as an alias of a ring tone; and
presenting, in response to the call and from a device of the called party, feedback intended for a calling party of the call.
2. The device of claim 1 , wherein the operations further comprise processing the call from the calling party that includes the real time voice paging message.
3. The device of claim 1 , wherein the operations further comprise establishing a transport connection for the real time voice paging message.
4. The device of claim 1 , wherein the operations further comprise identifying the calling party associated with the call.
5. The device of claim 1 , wherein the operations further comprise interleaving the real time voice paging message with the ring tone.
6. The device of claim 1 , wherein the characteristic comprises age information, nationality information, ethnicity information, temperament information, any other information, or a combination thereof.
7. The device of claim 1 , wherein the operations further comprise prompting the calling party to generate the real time voice paging message.
8. The device of claim 1 , wherein the operations further comprise rejecting the call based on the characteristic.
9. The device of claim 1 , wherein the operations further comprise routing the call to a party other than the called party based on the characteristic.
10. The device of claim 1 , wherein the operations further comprise storing the real time voice paging message.
11. The device of claim 1 , wherein the operations further comprise updating a telephony operational procedure for retrieving and transporting the real time voice paging message.
12. The device of claim 1 , wherein the operations further comprise presenting the real time voice paging message with the ring tone in a repeating cycle.
13. A method, comprising:
analyzing, by utilizing instructions from a memory that are executed by a processor, a characteristic of caller identification information associated with a call, a real time voice paging message associated with the call, or a combination thereof, to determine whether to route the real time voice paging message to a called party;
presenting, based on the analyzing and during the call, the real time voice paging message as an alias of a ring tone; and
obtaining, in response to the call and from a device of the called party, feedback intended for a calling party of the call.
14. The method of claim 13 , further comprising initiating a conversation by utilizing the real time voice paging message.
15. The method of claim 13 , further comprising compressing the real time voice paging message prior to presenting the real time voice paging message.
16. The method of claim 13 , further comprising providing media content with the real time voice paging message when presenting the real time voice paging message.
17. The method of claim 13 , further comprising providing an option to answer the call or ignore the call.
18. The method of claim 13 , further comprising processing the call from the calling party.
19. The method of claim 13 , further comprising ignoring the real time voice paging message in response to receiving an answer signal at a communication device.
20. A non-transitory computer readable medium comprising instruction, which, when loaded and executed by a processor, cause the processor to perform operations, the operations comprising:
analyzing a characteristic of caller identification information associated with a call, a real time voice paging message associated with the call, or a combination thereof, to determine whether to route the real time voice paging message to a called party;
presenting, based on the analyzing and during the call, the real time voice paging message as an alias of a ring tone; and
receiving, in response to the call and from a device of the called party, feedback intended for a calling party of the call.
