Abstract

To obtain a rotating electric machine capable of suppressing vibrations generated at the time of driving and achieving downsizing. The rotating electric machine includes: a rotor; a stator including a stator core provided on an outer side with respect to the rotor in a radial direction of the rotor; a motor frame, which includes a tubular portion provided on an outer side with respect to the stator core in the radial direction, and has the stator fixed thereto; and an intermediate member, which is provided on an outer peripheral surface of the stator core in the radial direction, and is held in a state of being press-fitted to an inner peripheral surface of the tubular portion in the radial direction, wherein a stiffness of the intermediate member per unit length is higher than a stiffness of the tubular portion per unit length.

Claims (21)

1. A rotating electric machine, comprising:

a rotor; a stator including a stator core provided on an outer side with respect to the rotor in a radial direction of the rotor;

a motor frame, which includes a tubular portion provided on an outer side with respect to the stator core in the radial direction, and has the stator fixed thereto; and

an intermediate member, which is provided on an outer peripheral surface of the stator core in the radial direction, and is held in a state of being press-fitted to an inner peripheral surface of the tubular portion in the radial direction,

wherein a stiffness of the intermediate member per unit length is higher than a stiffness of the tubular portion per unit length,

wherein the intermediate member has a C shape which is obtained by forming a cutout portion in an annular shape such that an axial center of the intermediate member coincides with an axial center of the stator core,

wherein an outer peripheral surface of the stator core has a recessed portion, and

wherein the recessed portion is arranged so as to be opposed to the cutout portion.

2. The rotating electric machine according to claim 1 , wherein a linear expansion coefficient of the intermediate member is equal to a linear expansion coefficient of the stator core.

3. The rotating electric machine according to claim 1 , wherein the motor frame is made of an aluminum-based material.

4. The rotating electric machine according to claim 1 , wherein the number of slots of the stator is twelve, and the number of poles of the rotor is ten.

5. The rotating electric machine according to claim 1 , wherein when a length of the stator core in an axial direction of the rotor is L 1 , and a length of the intermediate member in the axial direction is L 2 , L 1 /2<L 2 <L 1 is satisfied.

6. A rotating electric machine, comprising:

a rotor;

a stator including a stator core provided on an outer side with respect to the rotor in a radial direction of the rotor;

a motor frame, which includes a tubular portion provided on an outer side with respect to the stator core in the radial direction, and has the stator fixed thereto; and

an intermediate member, which is provided on an outer peripheral surface of the stator core in the radial direction, and is held in a state of being press-fitted to an inner peripheral surface of the tubular portion in the radial direction,

wherein a stiffness of the intermediate member per unit length is higher than a stiffness of the tubular portion per unit length,

wherein the intermediate member includes a plurality of tile-shaped members arranged in a circumferential direction of the rotor,

wherein an outer peripheral surface of the stator core has a plurality of recessed portions arranged in the circumferential direction, and

wherein end portions of each of the plurality of tile-shaped members in the circumferential direction are arranged so as to be adjacent to the plurality of recessed portions in the radial direction.
