Abstract

A check valve includes: a wall body in which a communication hole enabling flow of a fluid is formed; a valve body movable to a closed position where the communication hole is closed as the valve body comes into close contact with the wall body or to an open position where the fluid flows through the communication hole as the valve body is separated from the wall body; a spring body urging the valve body in a direction in which the valve body comes into close contact with the wall body; and a spring receiving member receiving a reaction force when the spring body urges the valve body. The spring body is configured as a conical spring, so that a winding diameter of one end portion is larger than a winding diameter of the other end portion in a compression direction.

Claims (41)

1 . A check valve comprising:

a wall body in which a communication hole that enables flow of a fluid is formed;

a valve body that is movable to a closed position where the communication hole is closed as the valve body comes into close contact with the wall body or to an open position where the fluid flows through the communication hole as the valve body is separated from the wall body;

a spring body that urges the valve body in a direction in which the valve body comes into close contact with the wall body; and

a spring receiving member that receives a reaction force when the spring body urges the valve body, wherein

the spring body is configured as a conical spring in which an elastic wire is wound in a conical shape, so that a winding diameter of one end portion is larger than a winding diameter of the other end portion in a compression direction.

2 . The check valve according to claim 1 , wherein

the wall body is disposed at one end portion of a cylindrical case,

the valve body, the spring body, and the spring receiving member are arranged inside the cylindrical case, and

an outer diameter of a portion of the spring body where the winding diameter is a maximum diameter is smaller than an outer diameter of the spring receiving member.

3 . The check valve according to claim 1 , wherein

a central hole portion is formed in a center of the spring receiving member, and an inner diameter of a portion of the spring body where the winding diameter is a minimum diameter is larger than an inner diameter of the central hole portion.

4 . The check valve according to claim 2 , wherein

a central hole portion is formed in a center of the spring receiving member, and an inner diameter of a portion of the spring body where the winding diameter is a minimum diameter is larger than an inner diameter of the central hole portion.

5 . The check valve according to claim 1 , wherein

in the spring body in a natural state, an interval between adjacent two elastic wires at at least one end portion in a direction along the compression direction is set smaller than an interval between adjacent two elastic wires in an area except for the end portion.

6 . The check valve according to claim 2 , wherein

in the spring body in a natural state, an interval between adjacent two elastic wires at at least one end portion in a direction along the compression direction is set smaller than an interval between adjacent two elastic wires in an area except for the end portion.

7 . The check valve according to claim 3 , wherein

in the spring body in a natural state, an interval between adjacent two elastic wires at at least one end portion in a direction along the compression direction is set smaller than an interval between adjacent two elastic wires in an area except for the end portion.

8 . The check valve according to claim 4 , wherein

in the spring body in a natural state, an interval between adjacent two elastic wires at at least one end portion in a direction along the compression direction is set smaller than an interval between adjacent two elastic wires in an area except for the end portion.

9 . The check valve according to claim 1 , wherein

in the spring body in a natural state, an interval between adjacent two elastic wires at an intermediate position in the compression direction is set smaller than an interval between adjacent two elastic wires at end portions in the compression direction.

10 . The check valve according to claim 2 , wherein

in the spring body in a natural state, an interval between adjacent two elastic wires at an intermediate position in the compression direction is set smaller than an interval between adjacent two elastic wires at end portions in the compression direction.

11 . The check valve according to claim 3 , wherein

in the spring body in a natural state, an interval between adjacent two elastic wires at an intermediate position in the compression direction is set smaller than an interval between adjacent two elastic wires at end portions in the compression direction.

12 . The check valve according to claim 4 , wherein

in the spring body in a natural state, an interval between adjacent two elastic wires at an intermediate position in the compression direction is set smaller than an interval between adjacent two elastic wires at end portions in the compression direction.

13 . A valve timing controller comprising:

a driving-side rotating body that rotates in synchronization with a crankshaft of an internal combustion engine;

a driven-side rotating body that is disposed coaxially with a rotation axis of the driving-side rotating body and rotates integrally with a valve opening and closing camshaft;

a control valve unit that supplies a fluid supplied from a supply flow passage to one of an advancing chamber and a retarding chamber formed between the driving-side rotating body and the driven-side rotating body; and

a check valve that allows the fluid supplied to the control valve unit to flow in one direction and prevents the fluid from flowing in a reverse direction, wherein

the check valve includes

a wall body in which a communication hole that enables flow of a fluid is formed,

a valve body that is movable to a closed position where the communication hole is closed as the valve body comes into close contact with the wall body or to an open position where the fluid flows through the communication hole as the valve body is separated from the wall body,

a spring body that urges the valve body in a direction in which the valve body comes into close contact with the wall body, and

a spring receiving member that receives a reaction force when the spring body urges the valve body, and

the spring body is configured as a conical spring in which an elastic wire is wound in a conical shape, so that a winding diameter of one end portion is larger than a winding diameter of the other end portion in a compression direction.
