Abstract

A system, an apparatus, a method and a computer program product for transmission of data packets using wireless data priority services in wireless communications system. A priority level for a user equipment is determined. Based on the determined priority level for the user equipment, an admission control procedure to reserve transmission capacity for the user equipment is executed. Based on the determined priority level for the user equipment and the reserved transmission capacity, at least one data packet for transmission to and/or from the user equipment is scheduled. Based on the scheduling, the data packet is transmitted.

9. The method according to claim 1 , further comprising barring the non-high priority access user equipment from communicating with the first base station based on an access class of the non-high priority access user equipment.

10. A system comprising:

at least one programmable processor; and

a non-transitory machine-readable medium storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one programmable processor, cause the at least one programmable processor to perform operations comprising:

determining a priority level for a user equipment, the priority level being determined using a quality of service class identifier (QCI) level, the QCI level including at least one of a guaranteed-bit rate QCI level and a non-guaranteed-bit rate QCI level;
