wherein A is OH or NH 2 , and B is H or NH 2 , wherein the disease or condition is Guillain-Barré syndrome.

2. The method of claim 1 , wherein A is NH 2 and B is H.

3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the disease or condition is Guillain-Barré syndrome and at least one of fever, skin rashes, conjunctivitis, muscle and joint pain, malaise, headache, neurological complications, or auto-immune complications.

4. The method of claim 1 , wherein a single dose of the compound of formula I is administered during a course of treatment.

5. The method of claim 4 , wherein the single dose is administered in a single administration or in multiple administrations.

6. The method of claim 1 , wherein more than one dose of the compound of formula I is administered during a course of treatment.

7. The method of claim 6 , wherein each dose is administered in a single administration or in multiple administrations.

8. The method of claim 7 , wherein the amount of the compound of the formula I in each dose is not the same.

9. The method of claim 6 , wherein the course of treatment comprises administering at least one dose as a loading dose and at least one dose as a maintenance dose.

10. The method of claim 1 , wherein the compound of formula I is administered by intravenous administration, intramuscular administration, parenteral administration, oral administration or a combination of the foregoing.

11. The method of claim 1 , wherein the compound of formula I is administered as a pharmaceutical composition comprising the compound of formula I and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
