Abstract

Temperature probe hubs are disclosed. An example temperature probe hub includes a housing, a drain, and a probe jack. The drain extends through the housing. The probe jack is located within the housing in fluid communication with the drain. The drain is configured to remove fluid from the probe jack.

Claims (68)

1. A temperature probe hub, comprising:

a housing;

a drain extending through the housing;

a probe jack located within the housing in fluid communication with the drain, the drain configured to remove fluid from the probe jack; and

a main board located within the housing, the drain extending through the main board via an opening formed in the main board.

2. The temperature probe hub of claim 1 , wherein the probe jack is located within the drain.

3. The temperature probe hub of claim 1 , further comprising a layer of pressure sensitive adhesive located within the housing, wherein the drain extends through the layer of pressure sensitive adhesive via an opening formed in the layer of pressure sensitive adhesive.

4. The temperature probe hub of claim 1 , wherein the drain includes:

a drain inlet;

a probe jack receptacle in fluid communication with the drain inlet;

a drain pipe in fluid communication with the probe jack receptacle; and

a drain outlet in fluid communication with the drain pipe.

5. The temperature probe hub of claim 4 , wherein the drain inlet is aligned with the probe jack, and wherein the drain inlet and the probe jack are configured to receive a jack plug of a temperature probe.

6. The temperature probe hub of claim 4 , wherein the housing includes an upper wall and a lower wall located opposite the upper wall, and wherein the drain inlet is formed in the upper wall and the drain outlet is formed in the lower wall.

7. The temperature probe hub of claim 4 , wherein the housing includes a cap and a base, and wherein the drain inlet is formed in the cap and the drain outlet is formed in the base.

8. The temperature probe hub of claim 4 , wherein the housing includes a chassis, and wherein the probe jack receptacle and the drain pipe are formed by the chassis.

9. The temperature probe hub of claim 4 , further comprising a probe jack cover configured to removably cover the drain inlet.

10. The temperature probe hub of claim 4 , wherein the probe jack is located within the probe jack receptacle.

11. The temperature probe hub of claim 10 , further comprising a probe jack board located within the housing, wherein the probe jack is mounted on and operatively coupled to the probe jack board.

12. The temperature probe hub of claim 4 , wherein the probe jack receptacle is located between the drain inlet and the drain pipe, and wherein the drain pipe is located between the probe jack receptacle and the drain outlet.

13. The temperature probe hub of claim 12 , wherein the probe jack receptacle is aligned with the drain inlet, the drain pipe is aligned with the probe jack receptacle, and the drain outlet is aligned with the drain pipe.

14. A temperature probe hub, comprising:

a housing including a drain inlet and a drain outlet;

a chassis located within the housing, the chassis including a probe jack receptacle and a drain pipe, wherein the probe jack receptacle is in fluid communication with the drain inlet, the drain pipe is in fluid communication with the probe jack receptacle, and the drain outlet is in fluid communication with the drain pipe; and

a probe jack located within the probe jack receptacle of the chassis, wherein the drain inlet, the probe jack receptacle, the drain pipe, and the drain outlet form a drain extending through the housing, and wherein the drain is configured to remove fluid from the probe jack.

15. The temperature probe hub of claim 14 , wherein the drain inlet is aligned with the probe jack, and wherein the drain inlet and the probe jack are configured to receive a jack plug of a temperature probe.

16. The temperature probe hub of claim 14 , wherein the probe jack receptacle is aligned with the drain inlet, the drain pipe is aligned with the probe jack receptacle, and the drain outlet is aligned with the drain pipe.

17. The temperature probe hub of claim 14 , further comprising a main board located within the housing, wherein the drain pipe extends through the main board via an opening formed in the main board.

18. The temperature probe hub of claim 14 , further comprising a layer of pressure sensitive adhesive located within the housing, wherein the drain pipe extends through the layer of pressure sensitive adhesive via an opening formed in the layer of pressure sensitive adhesive.

19. The temperature probe hub of claim 14 , further comprising a layer of pressure sensitive adhesive located within the housing, wherein the drain inlet extends through the layer of pressure sensitive adhesive via an opening formed in the layer of pressure sensitive adhesive.

20. A temperature probe hub, comprising:

a housing;

a drain extending through the housing;

a probe jack located within the housing in fluid communication with the drain, the drain configured to remove fluid from the probe jack; and

a layer of pressure sensitive adhesive located within the housing, wherein the drain extends through the layer of pressure sensitive adhesive via an opening formed in the layer of pressure sensitive adhesive.

21. The temperature probe hub of claim 20 , wherein the probe jack is located within the drain.

22. The temperature probe hub of claim 20 , wherein the drain includes:

a drain inlet;

a probe jack receptacle in fluid communication with the drain inlet;

a drain pipe in fluid communication with the probe jack receptacle; and

a drain outlet in fluid communication with the drain pipe.

23. The temperature probe hub of claim 22 , wherein the drain inlet is aligned with the probe jack, and wherein the drain inlet and the probe jack are configured to receive a jack plug of a temperature probe.

24. The temperature probe hub of claim 22 , wherein the housing includes an upper wall and a lower wall located opposite the upper wall, and wherein the drain inlet is formed in the upper wall and the drain outlet is formed in the lower wall.

25. The temperature probe hub of claim 22 , wherein the housing includes a cap and a base, and wherein the drain inlet is formed in the cap and the drain outlet is formed in the base.

26. The temperature probe hub of claim 22 , wherein the housing includes a chassis, and wherein the probe jack receptacle and the drain pipe are formed by the chassis.

27. The temperature probe hub of claim 22 , further comprising a probe jack cover configured to removably cover the drain inlet.

28. The temperature probe hub of claim 22 , wherein the probe jack is located within the probe jack receptacle.

29. The temperature probe hub of claim 28 , further comprising a probe jack board located within the housing, wherein the probe jack is mounted on and operatively coupled to the probe jack board.

30. The temperature probe hub of claim 22 , wherein the probe jack receptacle is located between the drain inlet and the drain pipe, and wherein the drain pipe is located between the probe jack receptacle and the drain outlet.

31. The temperature probe hub of claim 30 , wherein the probe jack receptacle is aligned with the drain inlet, the drain pipe is aligned with the probe jack receptacle, and the drain outlet is aligned with the drain pipe.

32. A temperature probe hub, comprising:

a housing;

a drain extending through the housing, the drain including:

a drain inlet;

a probe jack receptacle in fluid communication with the drain inlet;

a drain pipe in fluid communication with the probe jack receptacle; and

a drain outlet in fluid communication with the drain pipe; and

a probe jack located within the housing in fluid communication with the drain, the drain configured to remove fluid from the probe jack.

33. The temperature probe hub of claim 32 , wherein the probe jack is located within the drain.

34. The temperature probe hub of claim 32 , wherein the drain inlet is aligned with the probe jack, and wherein the drain inlet and the probe jack are configured to receive a jack plug of a temperature probe.

35. The temperature probe hub of claim 32 , wherein the housing includes an upper wall and a lower wall located opposite the upper wall, and wherein the drain inlet is formed in the upper wall and the drain outlet is formed in the lower wall.

36. The temperature probe hub of claim 32 , wherein the housing includes a cap and a base, and wherein the drain inlet is formed in the cap and the drain outlet is formed in the base.

37. The temperature probe hub of claim 32 , wherein the housing includes a chassis, and wherein the probe jack receptacle and the drain pipe are formed by the chassis.

38. The temperature probe hub of claim 32 , further comprising a probe jack cover configured to removably cover the drain inlet.

39. The temperature probe hub of claim 32 , wherein the probe jack is located within the probe jack receptacle.

40. The temperature probe hub of claim 39 , further comprising a probe jack board located within the housing, wherein the probe jack is mounted on and operatively coupled to the probe jack board.

41. The temperature probe hub of claim 32 , wherein the probe jack receptacle is located between the drain inlet and the drain pipe, and wherein the drain pipe is located between the probe jack receptacle and the drain outlet.

42. The temperature probe hub of claim 41 , wherein the probe jack receptacle is aligned with the drain inlet, the drain pipe is aligned with the probe jack receptacle, and the drain outlet is aligned with the drain pipe.
