Abstract

A server device is configured to receive criteria that indicate when a microsite is to be provided to a user device. The user device is configured to obtain sensor data and user profile data and send the sensor data and the user profile data to the server device. The server device is configured to receive the sensor data and the user profile data, identify a relevant microsite, and provide information regarding the relevant microsite to the user device. In some cases, the service device is configured to identify that a particular microsite has been purchased by a user of the user device and provide information, to the user device, identifying that the particular microsite has been purchased.

Claims (45)

1. A method implemented by one or more processors, comprising:

determining that sound, detected by an electronic device of a user, includes one or more particular spoken words;

selecting, based on the sound including the one or more particular spoken words, a particular microsite from a plurality of candidate microsites;

identifying a stored network address for the particular microsite;

identifying a stored sensor indication for the particular microsite, wherein the stored sensor indication indicates a sensor that is relevant to the particular microsite;

obtaining, based on the stored sensor indication indicating the sensor that is relevant to the particular microsite, sensor data that is generated based on output from the sensor that is relevant to the particular microsite; and

transmitting, to the stored network address for the particular microsite, a request that includes the sensor data, wherein the request includes the sensor data based on the stored sensor indication indicating that the sensor is relevant to the particular microsite,

wherein transmitting the request causes microsite content that is based on the sensor data to be transmitted to the electronic device or to an additional electronic device.

2. The method of claim 1 , wherein selecting the particular microsite is further based on profile data of the user.

3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the first sensor data is received independent of input of the user.

4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the microsite content is transmitted to the electronic device for presentation of the microsite content to the user via the electronic device.

5. The method of claim 4 , wherein the electronic device is a watch.

6. The method of claim 1 , wherein the microsite content includes an amount of content that can be presented on a display of a watch.

7. The method of claim 1 , wherein the microsite content includes embedded instructions.

8. A server device comprising:

memory storing instructions;

one or more processors, operatively connected to the memory and executing the instructions to cause the one or more processors to:

determine that sound, detected by an electronic device and capturing a voice of a user, satisfies one or more criteria;

select, based on the sound satisfying the one or more criteria, a particular microsite from a plurality of candidate microsites;

identifying a stored network address for the particular microsite;

identifying a stored sensor indication for the particular microsite, wherein the stored sensor indication indicates a sensor that is relevant to the particular microsite;

obtaining, based on the stored sensor indication indicating the sensor that is relevant to the particular microsite, sensor data that is generated based on output from the sensor that is relevant to the particular microsite; and

transmitting, to the stored network address for the particular microsite, a request that includes the sensor data, wherein the request includes the sensor data based on the stored sensor indication indicating that the sensor is relevant to the particular microsite,

wherein transmitting the request causes microsite content that is based on the sensor data to be transmitted to the electronic device or to an additional electronic device.

9. The server device of claim 8 , wherein the one or more criteria comprise that the voice is a particular type of voice.

10. The server device of claim 8 , wherein the one or more criteria comprise that one or more particular words are detected in the sound.

11. The server device of claim 8 , wherein in selecting the particular microsite, one or more of the processors are further to select the particular microsite further based on profile data of the user.

12. A method implemented by one or more processors, the method comprising:

receiving user interface input that activates, for a user, a particular microsite that includes triggering criteria, the triggering criteria comprising at least:

a geographic location criterion that defines that a user is not at a particular geographic location, and

a sound criterion that defines a particular sound being detected;

subsequent to activating the particular microsite for the user:

determining occurrence of the triggering criteria for the user and for the particular microsite, determining the occurrence of the triggering criteria including:

determining that the user is not at the particular geographic location, and

determining, based on audio data from a given electronic device of the user, that the particular sound is detected;

in response to determining the occurrence of the triggering criteria:

causing microsite content, for the particular microsite, to be rendered at an additional client device of the user.

13. The method of claim 12 , wherein detecting the particular sound comprises detecting a human voice.

14. The method of claim 13 , wherein detecting the particular sound comprises detecting the human voice above a particular threshold.

15. The method of claim 13 , wherein detecting the particular sound comprises detecting that the human voice is a particular type of voice.

16. The method of claim 12 , wherein the microsite content comprises an audio clip that includes the audio data from the given electronic device of the user.

17. The method of claim 12 , wherein the microsite content identifies one or more properties of the audio data, the one or more properties of the audio data determined, by the microsite, based on processing the audio data.

18. The method of claim 12 , wherein the triggering criteria further comprise a date criterion that defines a particular day or particular day of the week.

19. The method of claim 12 , wherein the triggering criteria further comprise a time criterion that defines a time or time range.

20. The method of claim 12 , wherein the microsite content includes an amount of content that can be presented on a display of a watch.
