Abstract

Provided methods and systems allow dynamic rendering of a reflexive questionnaire based on a modifiable spreadsheet for users with little to no programming experience and knowledge. Some methods comprise receiving a modifiable spreadsheet with multiple rows, each row comprising rendering instructions for a reflexive questionnaire from a first computer, such as a data type cell, statement cell, logic cell, and a field identifier; rendering a graphical user interface, on a second computer, comprising a label and an input element corresponding to the rendering instructions of a first row of the spreadsheet; receiving an input from the second computer; evaluating the input against the logic cell of the spreadsheet; in response to the input complying with the logic cell of the spreadsheet, dynamically rendering a second label and a second input element to be displayed on the graphical user interface based on the logic of the first row.

Claims (51)

1. A method comprising:

presenting, by a server, a first user interface to a first client device, wherein the first user interface is configured to receive a format logic, a semantic logic, and a deduplication logic from a client;

receiving, by the server, the format logic, the semantic logic, and the deduplication logic from the first client device;

storing, by the server, the format logic, the semantic logic, and the deduplication logic in a data structure;

presenting, by the server, a second user interface to a second client device, wherein the second user interface is configured to receive a set of rules from the second client device;

receiving, by the server, the set of rules from the second client device;

populating, by the server, a spreadsheet with the set of rules;

executing, by the server, the set of rules from the spreadsheet;

presenting, by the server, a third user interface to a third client device, wherein the third user interface includes a reflexive questionnaire including a set of questions generated based on the set of rules;

receiving, by the server from the third client device, one or more answers to the set of questions of the reflexive questionnaire, the one or more answers input by a user;

sending, by the server, a query to a data source as the reflexive questionnaire is presented on the third user interface, wherein the query comprises the one or more answers and is triggered based on the set of rules, wherein the data source is remote from the server;

receiving, by the server, a result to the query from the data source;

translating, by the server, the result based on the format logic, the semantic logic, and the deduplication logic from the data structure; and

updating, by the server, the reflexive questionnaire based on the result as translated.

2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the data structure is a single data structure.

3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the first client and the second client are internal to a network containing the server, wherein the third client is external to the network.

4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the data source includes a plurality of databases configured according to a plurality of schemas, wherein the result includes a plurality of results, wherein the schemas are different from each other, wherein the results at least partially overlap each other.

5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the data source includes a plurality of databases configured according to a plurality of schemas, wherein the result includes a plurality of results, wherein the schemas are different from each other, wherein the results do not overlap each other.

6. The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

presenting, by the server, an action recommendation to the third client based on a set of answers not satisfying the threshold.

7. The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

sending, by the server, a status message to the third client based on a set of answers satisfying the threshold.

8. The method of claim 1 , wherein at least one of the format logic, the semantic logic, or the deduplication logic is configured for text processing.

9. The method of claim 1 , wherein the data structure is a plurality of data structures.

10. The method of claim 9 , wherein the data structures includes a first data structure, a second data structure, and a third data structure, wherein the first data structures the format logic, wherein the second data structure stores the semantic logic, wherein the third data structure stores the deduplication logic.

11. A system comprising:

a server configured to:

present a first user interface to a first client device, wherein the first user interface is configured to receive a format logic, a semantic logic, and a deduplication logic from a client;

receive the format logic, the semantic logic, and the deduplication logic from the first client device;

store the format logic, the semantic logic, and the deduplication logic in a data structure;

present a second user interface to a second client device, wherein the second user interface is configured to receive a set of rules from the second client device;

receive the set of rules from the second client device;

populate a spreadsheet with the set of rules;

execute the set of rules from the spreadsheet;

present a third user interface to a third client device, wherein the third user interface includes a reflexive questionnaire including a set of questions generated based on the set of rules;

receiving, by the server from the third client device, one or more answers to the set of questions of the reflexive questionnaire, the one or more answers input by a user;

send a query to a data source as the reflexive questionnaire is presented on the third user interface, wherein the query comprises the one or more answers and is triggered based on the set of rules, wherein the data source is remote from the server;

receive a result to the query from the data source;

translate the result based on the format logic, the semantic logic, and the deduplication logic from the data structure; and

update the reflexive questionnaire based on the result as translated.

12. The system of claim 11 , wherein the data structure is a single data structure.

13. The system of claim 11 , wherein the first client and the second client are internal to a network containing the server, wherein the third client is external to the network.

14. The system of claim 11 , wherein the data source includes a plurality of databases configured according to a plurality of schemas, wherein the result includes a plurality of results, wherein the schemas are different from each other, wherein the results at least partially overlap each other.

15. The system of claim 11 , wherein the data source includes a plurality of databases configured according to a plurality of schemas, wherein the result includes a plurality of results, wherein the schemas are different from each other, wherein the results do not overlap each other.

16. The system of claim 11 , wherein the server is further configured to:

present an action recommendation to the third client based on a set of answers not satisfying the threshold.

17. The system of claim 11 , wherein the server is further configured to:

send a status message to the third client based on the set of answers satisfying a threshold.

18. The system of claim 11 , wherein at least one of the format logic, the semantic logic, or the deduplication logic is configured for text processing.

19. The system of claim 11 , wherein the data structure is a plurality of data structures.

20. The system of claim 19 , wherein the data structures includes a first data structure, a second data structure, and a third data structure, wherein the first data structures the format logic, wherein the second data structure stores the semantic logic, wherein the third data structure stores the deduplication logic.
