Abstract

Various embodiments relate generally to computer science, data science, software, and computer program and platform architectures, including receiving from a device geolocation data and input data, parsing the input data, evaluating the event data and the location data to generate shipment data, parsing the account to identify subscription data, selecting a sample associated with another item, the sample being selected by an adaptive distribution platform, transmitting other data to the device that renders an electronically-displayed message on an interface on the device, calling one or more data services to retrieve item data associated with the item, and generating a retrieval option associated with the item if the threshold, the query, and the additional input data indicates the device is within a numerical range of the first location or an alternative location and retrieval of the item from the first location is indicated.

Claims (40)

1. A method, comprising:

receiving from a device geolocation data and input data configured to identify an item, the input data being converted from a first data format to a second data format;

parsing the input data in the second data format to extract event data and location data associated with the item and other location data associated with the device;

evaluating the event data and the location data to generate shipment data configured to identify a first location from which to send the item to a second location associated with a destination at which to receive the item, an account associated with a subscription providing the input data, and one or more options associated with the item;

parsing the account to identify subscription data;

selecting a sample associated with another item, the sample being selected by an adaptive distribution platform;

transmitting other data to the device that, when processed by the device, renders an electronically-displayed message on an interface on the device, the other data being configured to solicit feedback about the sample, the feedback being configured to be transmitted from the device to the adaptive distribution platform before expiration of a time period;

calling one or more data services to retrieve item data associated with the item, the item data being compared to the geolocation data and the input data received from the device and being used to generate a determination of proximity of the device to the first location identified by an inventory management system to present, using a logic module, protocol handler, and format engine a query requesting additional input data from the device associated with retrieval of the item from the first location or an alternative location; and

generating a retrieval option associated with the item if the threshold, the query, and the additional input data indicates the device is within a numerical range of the first location or an alternative location and retrieval of the item from the first location is indicated.

2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the geolocation data indicates a geographic location of a physical device.

3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the geolocation data indicates a geographic location of a mobile device.

4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the device is a mobile computing device configured to transmit the input data and the geolocation data to the adaptive distribution platform using a data network.

5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the subscription is configured to indicate purchase and shipment of the item to the second location.

6. The method of claim 1 , wherein the subscription is configured to indicate purchase and shipment of the item to the second location according to a schedule associated with the account.

7. The method of claim 1 , wherein the input data is transmitted from a database management system to the adaptive distribution platform configured to execute one or more program instructions associated with the method.

8. The method of claim 1 , wherein the input data is transmitted from a database management system to the adaptive distribution platform, the adaptive distribution platform being in data communication with an inventory management system.

9. The method of claim 1 , wherein the item and the sample are retrieved from the first location.

10. The method of claim 1 , wherein the item is retrieved from the first location and the sample is retrieved from a third location.

11. The method of claim 1 , wherein the retrieval option comprises data transmitted to a data management system configured to identify at least one of the one or more items.

12. The method of claim 1 , wherein the retrieval option is configured to identify a device location associated with the device and to determine proximity of the device to the first location.

13. The method of claim 1 , wherein the retrieval option is configured to identify a device location associated with the device and to determine proximity of the device to the first location or another location at which a copy of the item is stored.

14. The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

determining a numerical range indicating proximity of the device to the item; and

generating a query to retrieve the item from another location proximate to the device.

15. A system, comprising:

a memory configured to store data generated using an application associated with a device; and

a processor configured to receive from a device geolocation data and input data configured to identify an item, the input data being converted from a first data format to a second data format, to parse the input data in the second data format to extract event data and location data associated with the item and other location data associated with the device, to evaluate the event data and the location data to generate shipment data configured to identify a first location from which to send the item to a second location associated with a destination at which to receive the item, an account associated with a subscription providing the input data, and one or more options associated with the item, to parse the account to identify subscription data, to select a sample associated with another item, the sample being selected by an adaptive distribution platform, to transmit other data to the device that, when processed by the device, renders an electronically-displayed message on an interface on the device, the other data being configured to solicit feedback about the sample, the feedback being configured to be transmitted from the device to the adaptive distribution platform before expiration of a time period, to call one or more data services to retrieve item data associated with the item, the item data being compared to the geolocation data and the input data received from the device and being used to generate a determination of proximity of the device to the first location identified by an inventory management system to present, using a logic module, protocol handler, and format engine a query requesting additional input data from the device associated with retrieval of the item from the first location or an alternative location, and to generate a retrieval option associated with the item if the threshold, the query, and the additional input data indicates the device is within a numerical range of the first location or an alternative location and retrieval of the item from the first location is indicated.

16. The system of claim 15 , wherein the adaptive distribution platform is configured to implement the processor.

17. The system of claim 15 , wherein the device is a mobile computing device.

18. The system of claim 15 , wherein the one or more data services are called using an application programming interface configured to transmit data from a data network.

19. The system of claim 15 , wherein the one or more data services are called from the adaptive distribution platform using an application programming interface to one or more host services that are configured to transmit data over a data network in response to a query from the adaptive distribution platform.

20. A non-transitory computer readable medium having one or more computer program instructions configured to perform a method, the method comprising:

receiving from a device geolocation data and input data configured to identify an item, the input data being converted from a first data format to a second data format;

parsing the input data in the second data format to extract event data and location data associated with the item and other location data associated with the device;
