System and method for enhanced access and control for connecting entities and effecting payments in a commercially oriented entity network
Among other things, embodiments of the present disclosure enables corporate entities to connect with each other and enables social networking interactions, credibility rating, identity verification, and/or business transactions between the corporate entities.
1. A computer-implemented method comprising:
communicating, by a computer system, a connection request to a first corporate entity, the connection request includes an invitation, by a second corporate entity, for the first corporate entity to join a network of corporate entities, a corporate entity being a business organization, the second corporate entity being included in the network of corporate entities;
determining, by the computer system, the first corporate entity has confirmed the connection request to join the network of corporate entities based in part on the first corporate entity accessing a uniform resource locator provided in association with the connection request;
based at least in part on the determining, connecting, by the computer system, the first corporate entity with the second corporate entity, the connecting enabling network interaction between the first corporate entity and the network of corporate entities;
subsequent to the connecting, receiving a request for payment; and
in response to the receiving of the request, effecting, by the computer system, a payment transaction between the first corporate entity and the second corporate entity based on a response to the request for the payment and instructing a first programming interface for accounting software utilized by the first corporate entity to reflect the effected payment transaction.
2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the network of corporate entities further instructs a second programming interface for accounting software utilized by the second corporate entity to reflect the payment transaction effected by the network of corporate entities.
3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the request for the payment further comprises a metadata portion that interfaces with accounting software utilized by the first corporate entity.
4. The method of claim 1 , wherein information associated with a profile of the second corporate entity is automatically populated to the accounting software utilized by the first corporate entity in response to the connecting.
5. The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
updating a credibility rating of the first corporate entity based on the payment transaction between the first corporate entity and the second corporate entity; and
associating the updated credibility rating with a profile of the first corporate entity.
6. The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
receiving terms defining an agreement between the first corporate entity and the second corporate entity that applies to the payment transaction between the first corporate entity and the second corporate entity;
updating a credibility rating of the first corporate entity based on satisfaction of the terms in the agreement by the first corporate entity; and
associating the updated credibility rating with a profile of the first corporate entity.
7. The method of claim 1 , further comprising confirming payment information for the first corporate entity.
8. The method of claim 1 , further comprising generating a network ID for the first corporate entity.
9. A tangible non-transitory, computer-readable medium storing instructions that, when executed by a computer system, instructions comprising:
communicating, by the computer system, a connection request to a first corporate entity, the connection request includes an invitation, by a second corporate entity, for the first corporate entity to join a network associated with one or more corporate entities, a corporate entity being a business organization;
determining, by the computer system, the first entity has confirmed the connection request;
in response to the determining, connecting, by the computer system, the first corporate entity with the second corporate entity;
receiving a request for a payment via the established connection, the connecting enabling network interaction between the first corporate entity and the second corporate entity; and
effecting, by the computer system, a payment transaction between the first corporate entity and the second corporate entity based on a response to the request for the payment and instructing a first programming interface for accounting software utilized by the first corporate entity to reflect the payment transaction effected by one or more corporate entities.
10. The computer-readable medium of claim 9 , wherein the one or more corporate entities further instructs a second programming interface for accounting software utilized by the second corporate entity to reflect the payment transaction effected by the one or more corporate entities.
11. The computer-readable medium of claim 9 , wherein the request for the payment further comprises a metadata portion that interfaces with accounting software utilized by the first corporate entity.
12. The computer-readable medium of claim 9 , wherein information associated with a profile of the second corporate entity is populated to the accounting software utilized by the first corporate entity.
13. The computer-readable medium of claim 9 , further comprising:
updating a credibility rating of the first corporate entity based on the payment transaction between the first corporate entity and the second corporate entity; and
associating the updated credibility rating with a profile of the first corporate entity.
14. The computer-readable medium of claim 9 , further comprising:
receiving terms defining an agreement between the first corporate entity and the second corporate entity that applies to the payment transaction between the first corporate entity and the second corporate entity;
updating a credibility rating of the first corporate entity based on satisfaction of the terms in the agreement by the first corporate entity; and
associating the updated credibility rating with a profile of the first corporate entity.
15. The computer-readable medium of claim 9 , further comprising confirming payment information for the first corporate entity.
16. The computer-readable medium of claim 9 , further comprising generating a network ID for the first corporate entity.
17. A system comprising:
at least one processor; and
memory in communication with the at least one processor and storing instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the system to:
communicate a connection request to a first corporate entity the connection request includes an invitation for the first corporate entity to join one or more corporate entities, a corporate entity being a business organization;
determine the first corporate entity has confirmed the connection request based in part on the first corporate entity accessing a uniform resource locator provided in association with the connection request;
connect a profile of the first corporate entity with a profile of a second corporate entity and receive a request for a payment via the established connection; and
effect a payment transaction between the first corporate entity and the second corporate entity based on a response to the request for the payment.
18. The system of claim 17 , wherein the one or more corporate entities further instructs a programming interface for accounting software utilized by the second corporate entity to reflect the payment transaction effected by the one or more corporate entities.
19. The system of claim 17 , wherein the request for the payment further comprises a metadata portion that interfaces with accounting software utilized by the first corporate entity.
20. The system of claim 17 , wherein information associated with the profile of the second corporate entity is populated to accounting software utilized by the first corporate entity.
