THUMBNAIL DISPLAY APPARATUS, THUMBNAIL DISPLAY METHOD, AND COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM FOR SWITCHING DISPLAYED IMAGES
A thumbnail display apparatus includes a display that displays, one by one, thumbnail images corresponding to plural pages included in a document, the thumbnail images being generated by reducing images of the corresponding pages included in the document to a predetermined size, a detecting unit that detects a sliding operation of an object, the sliding operation being performed when the thumbnail image displayed by the display being touched by the object, and a controller that performs, in response to detection of the sliding operation by the detecting unit, page switching so as to sequentially switch the page of the document whose thumbnail image is being displayed by the display to other pages.
1 . A display apparatus, comprising:
a display; and
a processor configured to:
display an image of a page included in a document having a plurality of pages;
detect a sliding operation; and
control to display, in response to the detected sliding operation, an entire image of a first page and a part of an entire image of a second page at the same time, the part of the entire image of the second page being displayed in a manner such that the part of the entire image the second page is partially folded back.
2 . The display apparatus according claim 1 ,
wherein the part of the entire image of the second page is displayed overlapping on an image of a third page.
3 . The display apparatus according claim 1 ,
wherein the second page and third page are pages preceding the first page in the document.
4 . The display apparatus according claim 1 ,
wherein the processor is further configured to continue to display the entire image of the first page and the part of the entire image of the second page during being detected sliding operation.
5 . The display apparatus according claim 1 ,
wherein the sliding operation includes an operation touching the display by an object, and
wherein the processor is further configured to control to stop displaying the part of the entire image of the second page partially folded back if the operation touching the display is no longer detected.
6 . A display method comprising:
displaying an image of a page included in a document having a plurality of pages;
detecting a sliding operation; and
displaying, in response to the detected sliding operation, an entire image of a first page and a part of an entire image of a second page at the same time, the part of the entire image of the second page being displayed in a manner such that the part of the entire image of the second page is partially folded back.
7 . The display method according claim 6 ,
wherein the part of the entire image of the second page is displayed overlapping on an image of a third page.
8 . The display method according claim 6 ,
wherein the second page and third page are pages preceding the first page in the document.
9 . The display method according claim 6 , further comprising continuing to display the entire image of the first page and the part of the entire image of the second page during being detected sliding operation.
10 . The display method according claim 6 ,
wherein the sliding operation includes an operation touching the display by an object, and
the method further comprises controlling to stop displaying the part of the entire image of the second page partially folded back if the operation touching the display is no longer detected.
11 . A non-transitory computer readable medium storing a program causing a computer to execute a display process, the process comprising:
displaying an image of a page included in a document having a plurality of pages;
detecting a sliding operation; and
displaying, in response to the detected sliding operation, an entire image of a first page and a part of an entire image of a second page at the same time, the part of the entire image of the second page being displayed in a manner such that the part of the entire image of the second page is partially folded back.
12 . The non-transitory computer readable medium according claim 11 ,
wherein the part of the entire image of the second page is displayed overlapping on an image of a third page.
13 . The non-transitory computer readable medium according claim 11 ,
wherein the second page and third page are pages preceding the first page in the document.
14 . The non-transitory computer readable medium according claim 11 , further comprising continuing to display the entire image of the first page and the part of the entire image of the second page during being detected sliding operation.
15 . The non-transitory computer readable medium according claim 11 ,
wherein the sliding operation includes an operation touching the display by an object, and
the process further comprises controlling to stop displaying the part of the entire image of the second page partially folded back if the operation touching the display is no longer detected.
