Claims (40)

1 - 186 . (canceled)

187 . An ingestible device, comprising:

a housing;

a chamber inside the housing; and

at least five different enzyme inhibitors inside the chamber.

188 . The ingestible device of claim 187 , wherein the at least five different enzyme inhibitors comprise at least one protease inhibitor.

189 . The ingestible device of claim 187 , wherein the at least five different enzyme inhibitors comprise at least two different protease inhibitors.

190 . The ingestible device of claim 187 , wherein the at least five different enzyme inhibitors comprise at least three different protease inhibitors.

191 . The ingestible device of claim 187 , wherein the at least five different enzyme inhibitors comprise at least four different protease inhibitors.

192 . The ingestible device of claim 187 , wherein the at least five different enzyme inhibitors comprise at least one serine protease inhibitor.

193 . The ingestible device of claim 187 , wherein the at least five different enzyme inhibitors comprise at least two different serine protease inhibitors.

194 . The ingestible device of claim 187 , wherein the at least five different enzyme inhibitors comprise at least three different serine protease inhibitors.

195 . The ingestible device of claim 187 , wherein the at least five different enzyme inhibitors comprise at least one metalloproteinase inhibitor.

196 . The ingestible device of claim 187 , wherein the at least five different enzyme inhibitors comprise at least one aspartyl protease inhibitor.

197 . The ingestible device of claim 187 , further comprising at least one stabilizer.

198 . The ingestible device of claim 187 , further comprising a member having first and second positions, wherein:

when the member is in its first position, the member covers an opening in the housing to prevent fluid communication between an exterior of the housing and the chamber via the opening; and

when the member is in its second position, the member does not prevent fluid communication between an exterior of the housing and the chamber via the opening.

199 . An ingestible device, comprising:

a housing;

a chamber inside the housing; and

at least three different serine protease inhibitors inside the chamber.

200 . The ingestible device of claim 198 , further comprising at least one metalloproteinase inhibitor.

201 . The ingestible device of claim 199 , further comprising at least one aspartyl protease inhibitor.

202 . The ingestible device of claim 200 , further comprising at least one stabilizer.

203 . The ingestible device of claim 198 , further comprising at least one aspartyl protease inhibitor.

204 . The ingestible device of claim 203 , further comprising at least one stabilizer.

205 . The ingestible device of claim 198 , further comprising at least one stabilizer.

206 . The ingestible device of claim 198 , further comprising a member having first and second positions, wherein:

when the member is in its first position, the member covers an opening in the housing to prevent fluid communication between an exterior of the housing and the chamber via the opening; and

when the member is in its second position, the member does not prevent fluid communication between an exterior of the housing and the chamber via the opening.

207 . An ingestible device, comprising:

a housing;

a chamber inside the housing;

a serine protease inhibitor inside the chamber;

an aspartyl protease inhibitor inside the chamber; and

a metalloproteinase inhibitor inside the chamber.

208 . The ingestible device of claim 207 , further comprising a member having first and second positions, wherein:

when the member is in its first position, the member covers an opening in the housing to prevent fluid communication between an exterior of the housing and the chamber via the opening; and

when the member is in its second position, the member does not prevent fluid communication between an exterior of the housing and the chamber via the opening.
