Light-emitting component
A light-emitting component a first layer stack configured to generate light, at least one additional layer stack configured to generate light, where each of the first layer stack and the at least one additional layer stack are separately drivable from one another and where an auxiliary structure is arranged between the first layer stacks and the at least one additional layer stacks.
1. A light-emitting device comprising:
a first layer stack configured to generate light;
at least one additional layer stack configured to generate light, wherein each of the first layer stack and the at least one additional layer stack are separately drivable from one another; and
an auxiliary structure arranged between the first layer stack and the at least one additional layer stack, wherein the auxiliary structure is electrically insulating and comprises an organic material, wherein the auxiliary structure is arranged between the first layer stack and the at least one additional layer stack along a lateral direction.
2. The light-emitting device according to claim 1 , wherein the first layer stack and the at least one additional layer stack are arranged laterally adjacent to one another.
3. The light-emitting device according to claim 1 , wherein the first layer stack and the at least one additional layer stack are arranged on a common carrier.
4. The light-emitting device according to claim 1 , wherein the auxiliary structure fills a region in the lateral direction between the first layer stack and the at least one additional layer stack.
5. The light-emitting device according to claim 1 , wherein each of the at least one additional layer stack and the first layer stack is part of a segment of the light-emitting device.
6. The light-emitting device according to claim 5 , wherein at least two of the segments of which each of the at least one additional layer stack and the first layer stack are a part differ in their shape.
7. The light-emitting device according to claim 5 , wherein at least two of the segments of which each of the at least one additional layer stack and the first layer stack are a part differ in their lateral extent.
8. The light-emitting device according to claim 5 , wherein at least two of the segments of which each of the at least one additional layer stack and the first layer stack are a part differ in a color of light produced in the respective segments.
9. The light-emitting device according to claim 5 , wherein at least two of the segments of which each of the at least one additional layer stack and the first layer stack are a part differ in a brightness of light produced in the respective segments.
10. The light-emitting device according to claim 1 , wherein the first layer stack is arranged between a first electrode and a second electrode, and wherein the first electrode and the second electrode abut the auxiliary structure.
11. The light-emitting device according to claim 10 , wherein the second electrode covers the auxiliary structure.
12. The light-emitting device according to claim 1 , wherein the auxiliary structure is reflective or light-scattering.
13. The light-emitting device according to claim 1 , wherein the first layer stack and the at least one additional layer stack comprise at least one different material.
14. The light-emitting device according to claim 1 , wherein the first layer stack and the at least one additional layer stack differ in thickness.
15. The light-emitting device according to claim 1 , wherein the first layer stack is arranged vertically between a first electrode and a common electrode, wherein the at least one additional layer stack comprises a second layer stack, and wherein the second layer stack is arranged vertically between a second electrode and the common electrode.
16. The light-emitting device according to claim 15 , wherein the common electrode covers the first layer stack, the second layer stack, and the auxiliary structure.
17. The light-emitting device according to claim 15 , wherein the first electrode is arranged vertically between the first layer stack and a common carrier, and wherein the second electrode is arranged vertically between the second layer stack and the common carrier.
18. The light-emitting device according to claim 17 , wherein the auxiliary structure abuts the common electrode and the common carrier.
19. A light-emitting device comprising:
a first layer stack configured to generate light;
at least one additional layer stack configured to generate light, wherein each of the first layer stack and the at least one additional layer stack are separately drivable from one another;
an auxiliary structure arranged between the first layer stack and the at least one additional layer stack, wherein the auxiliary structure is electrically insulating and comprises an organic material, wherein the first and the at least one additional layer stack are located in a common plane parallel to a top face of a common carrier for the first and the at least one additional layer stack.
20. The light-emitting device according to claim 19 , wherein the auxiliary structure is arranged between the first layer stack and the at least one additional layer stack along a lateral direction.
