Abstract

An event detection system to operations that include: detecting an event based on at least a portion of the sensor data, the event comprising a plurality of event attributes; determining one or more event attributes from the plurality of event attributes of the event transgress a threshold value; and causing display of a notification that includes a presentation of at least the portion of the sensor data in response to the determining that the one or more event attributes from among the plurality of event attributes of the event transgress the threshold value.

1. A method comprising:

accessing sensor data generated by a sensor device that includes a dashcam, the sensor device corresponding with a device identifier

detecting an event based on at least a portion of the sensor data that includes image data, the event comprising a plurality of event attributes, and a set of notification triggers that include detection of one or more image features within the sensor data generated by the sensor device;

detecting the one or more image features associated with a notification trigger from among the set of notification triggers within the image data generated by the dashcam, the notification trigger corresponding with a notification type that comprises one or more notification features;

identifying a user account based on the device identifier of the sensor device responsive to the notification trigger, the user account corresponding with a client device;

generating a user score to be assigned to the user account based on the plurality of event attributes of the event;

determining that the user score transgresses a threshold value;

generating a notification based on the notification type that correspond with the notification trigger of the event responsive to the detecting the one or more image features, the notification including a user identifier associated with the user account, the one or more notification features that correspond with the notification type, and a presentation of the portion of the sensor data; and

causing display of the notification at the client device associated with the user account.

2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the sensor data includes image data that comprises image features, and the detecting the event based on the portion of the sensor data includes:

detecting the event based on the image features of the image data.

3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the presentation of the portion of the sensor data includes an indication of the one or more event attributes of the event.

4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the generating the user score includes:

indexing the portion of the sensor data associated with the event among a plurality of data objects at a memory location associated with the user account;

accessing a subset of the data objects at the memory location in response to the detecting the event, the subset of the data objects including the portion of the sensor data; and

generating the user score based on at least the subset of the data objects.

5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the event includes a near-collision, and the one or more event attributes include a time-to-collision.

6. The method of claim 1 , wherein the sensor device includes a device identifier, and the causing display of the notification that includes the presentation of the portion of the sensor data based on the result of the comparison includes:

identifying the client device based on the device identifier of the sensor device; and

causing display of the notification at the client device.

7. The method of claim 1 , wherein the sensor device includes a camera and the image data includes video data.

8. A system comprising:

at least one sensor device to generate sensor data comprising a plurality of data streams;

a memory; and

at least one hardware processor to perform operations comprising:

accessing sensor data generated by a sensor device that includes a dashcam, the sensor device corresponding with a device identifier

detecting an event based on at least a portion of the sensor data that includes image data, the event comprising a plurality of event attributes, and a set of notification triggers that include detection of one or more image features within the sensor data generated by the sensor device;

detecting the one or more image features associated with a notification trigger from among the set of notification triggers within the image data generated by the dashcam, the notification trigger corresponding with a notification type that comprises one or more notification features;

identifying a user account based on the device identifier of the sensor device responsive to the notification trigger, the user account corresponding with a client device;

generating a user score to be assigned to the user account based on the plurality of event attributes of the event;

determining that the user score transgresses a threshold value;

generating a notification based on the notification type that correspond with the notification trigger of the event responsive to the detecting the one or more image features, the notification including a user identifier associated with the user account, the one or more notification features that correspond with the notification type, and a presentation of the portion of the sensor data; and

causing display of the notification at the client device associated with the user account.

9. The system of claim 8 , wherein the sensor data includes image data that comprises image features, and the detecting the event based on the portion of the sensor data includes:

detecting the event based on the image features of the image data.

10. The system of claim 8 , wherein the presentation of the portion of the sensor data includes an indication of the one or more event attributes of the event.

11. The system of claim 8 , wherein the generating the user score includes:

indexing the portion of the sensor data associated with the event among a plurality of data objects at a memory location associated with the user account;

accessing a subset of the data objects at the memory location in response to the detecting the event, the subset of the data objects including the portion of the sensor data; and

generating the user score based on at least the subset of the data objects.

12. The system of claim 8 , wherein the event includes a near-collision, and the event attributes include a time-to-collision.

13. The system of claim 8 , wherein the sensor device includes a device identifier, and the causing display of the notification that includes the presentation of the portion of the sensor data based on the result of the comparison includes:

identifying the client device based on the device identifier of the sensor device; and

causing display of the notification at the client device.

14. The system of claim 8 , wherein the sensor device includes a camera and the image data includes video data.

15. A non-transitory machine-readable storage medium comprising instructions that, when executed by one or more processors of a machine, cause the machine to perform operations comprising:

accessing sensor data generated by a sensor device that includes a dashcam, the sensor device corresponding with a device identifier

detecting an event based on at least a portion of the sensor data that includes image data, the event comprising a plurality of event attributes, and a set of notification triggers that include detection of one or more image features within the sensor data generated by the sensor device;

detecting the one or more image features associated with a notification trigger from among the set of notification triggers within the image data generated by the dashcam, the notification trigger corresponding with a notification type that comprises one or more notification features;
