Abstract

A method and system for providing therapy to an individual, the method comprising: transmitting a log of use dataset associated with communication behavior of the individual during a time period; receiving a supplementary dataset characterizing mobility of the individual in association with the time period; generating a survey dataset upon retrieving responses provided by the individual to at least one of a set of surveys, associated with a set of time points of the time period; generating a predictive model from a passive dataset derived from the log of use dataset and the supplementary dataset and the survey dataset; generating a report summarizing a mental health state of the individual, associated with at least a portion of the time period, from the passive dataset, the survey dataset, and an output of the predictive model; and rendering information from the report to a coach associated with the individual.

Claims (49)

1. A method for monitoring a mental health state associated with an individual, the method comprising:

at a computing system:

receiving a dataset associated with the individual;

generating a report summarizing the mental health state;

transmitting the report to a coach;

enabling a communicable link between a first device associated with the individual and a second device associated with the coach;

in response to enabling the communicable link, prompting an interaction between the coach and the individual;

with a machine learning model, the machine learning model operable to improve an accuracy of engagement analysis pertaining to the individual's mental health state:

determining a value of an engagement metric during a first time period;

determining a second value of the engagement metric during a second time period later than the first time period;

determining that the second value is below a threshold;

transmitting a notification from the coach to the individual, the notification operable to re-engage the individual in interactions with the coach, thereby improving the individual's mental health state;

automatically updating the machine learning model based on at least one of: the dataset, the second value, or the notification; and

with the updated machine learning model, determining a third value of the engagement metric during a third time period.

2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the dataset comprises a log of use dataset associated with the first device.

3. The method of claim 1 , wherein generating the report comprises using a predictive model to extract features from the dataset, wherein the report is generated based on the features.

4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the report comprises information generated based on an adherence model, wherein the adherence model processes the dataset, wherein the information comprises a likelihood of the individual adhering to a treatment.

5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the value is determined based on at least one of:

the dataset; and

the interaction between the individual and the coach via the communicable link.

6. The method of claim 5 , wherein the second value is determined based on at least one of:

the dataset; and

a second interaction between the individual and the coach via the communicable link.

7. The method of claim 1 , wherein the interaction comprises a therapy operable to improve the mental health state associated with the individual.

8. The method of claim 7 , further comprising:

receiving a second dataset associated with the individual after the interaction;

generating a second report based on the second dataset; and

determining an efficacy of the therapy based on the second report.

9. The method of claim 8 , further comprising, when the efficacy of the therapy is below an efficacy threshold, provisioning a second interaction between the individual and the coach.

10. The method of claim 8 , further comprising, when the efficacy of the therapy is below an efficacy threshold, enabling a second communicable link between the first device and a third device associated with a therapeutic entity, wherein the therapeutic entity is not the coach.

11. A method for monitoring a mental health state associated with an individual, the method comprising:

at the computing system:

receiving a dataset associated with the individual;

determining the mental health state associated with the individual;

transmitting the mental health state to a coach;

enabling a communicable link between a first device associated with the individual and a second device associated with the coach;

in response to enabling the communicable link, prompting an interaction between the individual and the coach;

with a machine learning model, the machine learning model operable to improve an accuracy of engagement analysis pertaining to the individual's mental health state, determining an engagement metric during a time period;

when the engagement metric is below a threshold, transmitting a notification to at least one of the individual and the coach, the notification operable to re-engage the individual in interactions with the coach, thereby improving the individual's mental health state;

automatically updating the machine learning model based on at least one of: the dataset, the engagement metric, or the notification; and

with the updated machine learning model, determining a second engagement metric during a second time period.

12. The method of claim 11 , wherein the dataset is associated with a log of use dataset associated with the first device.

13. The method of claim 12 , wherein determining the engagement metric comprises determining a value of the engagement metric based on at least one of a usage of the first device and the interaction.

14. The method of claim 11 , wherein determining the mental health state associated with the individual comprises generating a report based on the dataset and wherein transmitting the mental health state to the coach comprises transmitting the report to the coach.

15. The method of claim 11 , wherein the interaction comprises a therapy.

16. The method of claim 15 , further comprising determining an efficacy of the therapy based on a second interaction between the individual and the coach during a second time period after the time period.

17. The method of claim 11 , wherein the notification comprises a prompt to establish a second interaction between the individual and the coach via the communicable link.

18. The method of claim 11 , further comprising receiving a set of responses, provided by the individual, to a set of surveys.

19. The method of claim 18 , further comprising matching the individual to the coach based on at least one of the dataset and the set of responses.
