Abstract

A fraud detection system which detects fraud in a game of performing collection and redemption of chips in accordance with a win or lose result includes a camera which captures an image of chips contained in a chip tray of a dealer, an image analyzing apparatus which analyses the image captured by the camera to detect an amount of the chips contained in the chip tray, a card distribution device which determines a win or lose result of a game, and a control device which compares the win or lose result of the game and the amount of the chips contained in the chip tray before and after collection and redemption of the chips to detect fraud.

Claims (20)

1. A detecting system comprising:

a chip recognition device, wherein the chip recognition device is configured to recognize one or more chips on a first gaming table in a casino; and

at least one control device, wherein the at least one control device is configured to perform the following respectively for each of one or more players at the first gaming table:

obtain a respective win and lose result for each of a plurality of games played by the respective player at the first gaming table;

for each of the plurality of games:

identify, based on the recognition by the chip recognition device, respective chip wager information, the chip wager information including respective positions, types, and numbers of chips wagered by the respective player in the respective game; and

determine a respective win/lose amount of the player in the respective game based on the obtained win and lose result of the respective game and the identified chip wager information of the respective player in the respective game;

compile a respective win/lose history of the respective player or a data of an acquired or lost amount of chips based on the win/lose amounts determined for the respective player for the plurality of games;

upon relocation of the respective player from the first gaming table to a second gaming table in the casino, transmit to a processing device of the second gaming table an indication of the relocation of the respective player to the second gaming table; and

transmit the compiled win/lose history of the respective player or the data of the acquired or lost amount of chips to the processing device of the second gaming table for use by the processing device of the second gaming table after the relocation of the respective player to the second gaming table.

2. The detecting system according to claim 1 , wherein the at least one control device is configured to use artificial intelligence or deep learning.

3. The detecting system according to claim 1 , wherein the at least one control device is configured to transmit a warning to the processing device of the second gaming table in response to a determination that a statistical data value of the win/lose history is outside a predefined range.

4. The detecting system according to claim 1 , wherein the at least one control device is configured to individually associate each of the one or more players with a respective identity number.

5. The detecting system according to claim 1 , wherein the at least one control device is configured to:

individually associate each of the one or more players with a respective identity number; and

transmit to the processing device of the second gaming table a warning along with the respective identity number of one of the players in response to a determination that a statistical data value of the win/lose history of the respective player is outside a predefined range.

6. The detecting system according to claim 1 , wherein the chip recognition device includes a recorder, the recorder is configured to record a video image of the first gaming table, and the at least one control device is configured to individually identify each of the one or more players by extracting a respective image from the video image.

7. The detecting system according to claim 1 , wherein the chip recognition device is a camera.

8. The detecting system according to claim 1 , wherein the chip recognition device is a radio frequency identification (RFID) tag reader.

9. The detecting system according to claim 1 , wherein the chip recognition device includes a recorder, the recorder is configured to record a video image of the first gaming table, and the at least one control device is configured to individually identify each of the one or more players by extracting from the video image a respective face image of each of the one or more players.
