Abstract

A camera module is provided, including a lens driving mechanism, a lens unit, a circuit board, and an image sensor. The lens unit is disposed on the lens driving mechanism. The image sensor is disposed on the circuit board. The circuit board includes a metal member, an insulation layer, and a metal wire. The insulation layer is disposed between the metal member and the metal wire, and the metal wire is electrically connected to the image sensor. The lens driving module can drive the lens unit to move relative to the image sensor. The image sensor can catch the light through the lens unit.

Claims (27)

1. A camera module, comprising:

a holder, configured to hold an optical member having an optical axis;

a circuit board, wherein the holder is movable relative to the circuit board, and the circuit board comprises:

a metal member, having a plate structure and comprising a surface;

an insulation layer, disposed on the surface of the metal member; and

a metal wire, disposed on the insulation layer, wherein the metal wire and the metal member are electrically independent;

a first driving mechanism, configured to drive the holder to move along a first direction relative to the circuit board; and

an image sensor, configured to receive a light and electrically connected to the metal wire, wherein the metal member further comprises a hole, the hole overlaps the image sensor as observed from the optical axis, and the surface faces the metal wire and the image sensor.

2. The camera module as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the camera module further comprises a second driving mechanism configured to drive the holder to move along a second direction relative to the circuit board, the second direction is different from the first direction, and the second driving mechanism is disposed between the holder and the circuit board.

3. The camera module as claimed in claim 2 , wherein the camera module further comprises a base disposed between the holder and the circuit board, the base comprises a first insulation layer and a first conductive layer, and at least a portion of the first insulation layer is disposed between the first conductive layer and the metal wire.

4. The camera module as claimed in claim 3 , wherein the base further comprises a second insulation layer and a second conductive layer, the first insulation layer is disposed between the first conductive layer and the second insulation layer, and the second insulation layer is disposed between the first insulation layer and the second conductive layer.

5. The camera module as claimed in claim 4 , wherein the first conductive layer and the second conductive layer have the same coefficient of thermal expansion.

6. The camera module as claimed in claim 3 , wherein the base further comprises an opening, and the first insulation layer and the first conductive layer surround the opening.

7. The camera module as claimed in claim 3 , wherein the base comprises a second insulation layer and a second conductive layer, and at least a portion of the second conductive layer is disposed between the second insulation layer and the metal wire.

8. The camera module as claimed in claim 7 , wherein the base further comprises an opening, and the second insulation layer and the second conductive layer surround the opening.

9. The camera module as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the insulation layer is disposed between the metal member and the metal wire.

10. The camera module as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the insulation layer comprises an additional hole, and the hole is aligned with the additional hole.

11. The camera module as claimed in claim 10 , wherein the metal wire and the hole are separated as observed from the optical axis.

12. The camera module as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the thickness of the metal member exceeds the total thickness of the insulation layer and the metal wire.

13. The camera module as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the metal member and the metal wire have the same coefficient of thermal expansion.

14. The camera module as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the camera module further comprises a base disposed between the holder and the circuit board and a plurality of suspension wires electrically connected to the base and the first driving mechanism.
