Abstract

An artificial intelligence system for vehicle in-seat advertising includes a first portion of the artificial intelligence system that determines an operating state of the vehicle by processing inputs relating to at least one parameter of the vehicle. A second portion of the artificial intelligence system determines a state of a rider of the vehicle by processing inputs relating to at least one parameter of the rider. A third portion of the artificial intelligence system determines at least one of a price, classification, content and location of an advertisement to be delivered within an interface of the vehicle to a rider in a seat in the vehicle based on the vehicle state and the rider state.

Claims (27)

1. An artificial intelligence system for vehicle in-seat advertising, comprising:

a first portion of the artificial intelligence system that determines an operating state of the vehicle by processing inputs relating to at least one parameter of the vehicle;

a second portion of the artificial intelligence system that determines a state of a rider of the vehicle by processing inputs that reflect a rider satisfaction parameter,

wherein the inputs that reflect the rider satisfaction parameter are captured by at least one Internet-of-things device that is disposed external to the vehicle; and

a third portion of the artificial intelligence system that determines at least one of: a price, classification, content, or location of an advertisement to be delivered within an interface of the vehicle to the rider in a seat in the vehicle based on the operating state of the vehicle and the state of the rider of the vehicle.

2. The artificial intelligence system of claim 1 wherein the vehicle comprises a system for automating at least one control parameter of the vehicle.

3. The artificial intelligence system of claim 2 wherein the vehicle is at least a semi-autonomous vehicle.

4. The artificial intelligence system of claim 3 wherein the vehicle is automatically routed.

5. The artificial intelligence system of claim 4 wherein the vehicle is a self-driving vehicle.

6. The artificial intelligence system of claim 1 wherein the advertisement is delivered from an advertiser who places a winning bid.

7. The artificial intelligence system of claim 1 wherein delivering the advertisement is based on a winning bid.

8. The artificial intelligence system of claim 7 , further including resolution of payments as settlement for at least one of the delivering the advertisement or placing a winning bid for a placement opportunity.

9. The artificial intelligence system of claim 1 wherein the inputs relating to the at least one parameter of the vehicle include at least one of: a vehicle classification or a display classification.

The artificial intelligence system of claim 1 wherein the inputs relating to the at least one parameter of the vehicle include audio system capability, and wherein the audio system capability is at least one of: an audio dialog management system, an intelligence assistant system, a microphone, a smart speaker, or a voice response interface.

11. The artificial intelligence system of claim 1 wherein the inputs relating to the at least one parameter of the vehicle include at least one of: vehicle location information or route information.

12. The artificial intelligence system of claim 1 wherein the second portion of the artificial intelligence system further determines the state of the rider by processing inputs relating to demographic information about the rider.

13. The artificial intelligence system of claim 1 wherein the inputs relating to the rider satisfaction parameter include an emotional state of the rider.

14. The artificial intelligence system of claim 1 wherein the second portion of the artificial intelligence system further determines the state of the rider by processing inputs that reflect at least one of: the rider's response to prior in-seat advertising or the rider's social media activity.

15. A vehicle with in-seat advertising, the vehicle comprising:

a seat for a rider of the vehicle;

an interface configured to deliver an advertisement to the rider; and

an advertising system comprising:

an operating state artificial intelligence system that determines an operating state of the vehicle using artificial intelligence and by processing inputs relating to at least one parameter of the vehicle;

a rider state artificial intelligence system that determines a state of the rider of the vehicle using artificial intelligence and by processing inputs that reflect a rider satisfaction parameter,

a rider satisfaction parameter interface configured to communicate with at least one Internet-of-things device that is disposed external to the vehicle and to receive the rider satisfaction parameter from the at least one Internet-of-things device, wherein the at least one Internet-of-things device is at least one of: a roadway camera, a traffic light camera, a traffic light sensor, an in-road sensor, a toll booth, or a traffic control light; and

an advertisement selection artificial intelligence system that uses artificial intelligence to generate at least one of: a price, classification, content, or location of the advertisement for the interface to be presented to the rider in the seat in the vehicle based on the operating state of the vehicle and the state of the rider of the vehicle.

16. The vehicle of claim 15 , wherein the advertisement selection artificial intelligence system uses a cognitive system to generate the at least one of: the price, classification, content or location.
