LIGHT SEAL COVER FOR USE WITH A HEAD-WEARABLE TESTING AND MEASUREMENT DEVICE AND RELATED METHODS
Methods, apparatus, and systems for performing an ophthalmic diagnostic test are disclosed. In one aspect, a head-wearable device for administering an ophthalmic test to a subject can comprise a head-wearable frame for mounting the device onto the subject's head, and a light seal configured for coupling to the frame so as to isolate at least one eye of the subject from ambient light when the device is worn by the subject.
1 . A hygienic light seal cover for use with a head-wearable ophthalmic testing and measurement device, the hygienic light seal cover comprising:
a single use, disposable, liner configured to removably cover at least a portion of a light seal adapted to be coupled to a frame of the head-wearable ophthalmic testing and measurement device, the liner being configured such that, when the ophthalmic head-wearable testing and measurement device is worn by a test subject, the liner is in contact with skin of the test subject, and a combination of the light seal and the ophthalmic head-wearable ophthalmic testing and measurement device isolates at least one eye of the test subject from ambient light; and
a radio frequency identification (RFID) tag coupled to the single use, disposable, liner.
2 . The hygienic light seal cover of claim 1 , wherein the RFID tag is configured for use in ensuring authenticity of the hygienic light seal cover.
3 . The hygienic light seal cover of claim 1 , wherein the RFID tag is configured for use in enforcing single usage of the hygienic light seal cover.
4 . The hygienic light seal cover of claim 1 , wherein the RFID tag comprises a passive RFID tag comprising information configured to be read by an RFID reader included in the ophthalmic testing and measurement device.

The hygienic light seal cover of claim 1 , wherein the RFID tag comprises information configured to initialize an ophthalmic testing and measurement using the ophthalmic testing and measurement device upon scanning the RFID tag against an RFID reader included in the ophthalmic testing and measurement device.
6 . The hygienic light seal cover of claim 1 , wherein the RFID tag comprises information configured to trigger the ophthalmic testing and measurement device to display results of an ophthalmic testing and measurement conducted using the ophthalmic testing and measurement device.
7 . The hygienic light seal cover of claim 1 , wherein the liner comprises cotton.
8 . The hygienic light seal cover of claim 1 , further comprising an elastic material configured to facilitate coupling of the hygienic light seal cover with the light seal.
9 . The hygienic light seal cover of claim 1 , wherein the liner comprises at least one layer of tape.
10 . A hygienic light seal cover for use with a head-wearable ophthalmic testing and measurement device, the hygienic light seal cover comprising:
a single use, disposable, liner configured to removably and replaceably cover at least a portion of a light seal adapted to be coupled to a frame of the head-wearable ophthalmic testing and measurement device, the liner being configured such that, when the ophthalmic head-wearable testing and measurement device is worn by a test subject, the liner is in contact with skin of the test subject, and a combination of the light seal and the ophthalmic head-wearable ophthalmic testing and measurement device isolates at least one eye of the test subject from ambient light; and
a radio frequency identification (RFID) tag comprising information configured to at least one of: initialize an ophthalmic testing and measurement using the ophthalmic testing and measurement device and trigger the ophthalmic testing and measurement device to display results of an ophthalmic testing and measurement conducted using the ophthalmic testing and measurement device.
11 . The hygienic light seal cover of claim 8 , wherein the RFID tag comprises information configured for use in ensuring authenticity of the hygienic light seal cover.
12 . The hygienic light seal cover of claim 8 , wherein the RFID tag comprises information configured for use in enforcing single usage of the hygienic light seal cover.
13 . The hygienic light seal cover of claim 8 , wherein the liner comprises cotton.
14 . The hygienic light seal cover of claim 1 , further comprising an elastic material configured to facilitate coupling of the hygienic light seal cover with the light seal.
