Abstract

A wireless communications system includes a base station configured to control a second wireless communication different from a first wireless communication by a control unit configured to control the first wireless communication; and a mobile station configured to be capable of performing data transmission between the mobile station and the base station, using one of the first wireless communication and the second wireless communication. When data is transmitted between the base station and the mobile station using the second wireless communication, a sender station among the base station and the mobile station performs transmission control of using an identifier of a bearer of the data transmitted to a receiver station among the base station and the mobile station and using correspondence information of the identifier and an access category that is QoS information in the second wireless communication to identify the access category of the data and transmit the data.

Claims (27)

1. A wireless communications system configured to perform communications between a first wireless communication apparatus and a second wireless communication apparatus, wherein

the first wireless communication apparatus comprising:

a transmitter configured to transmit data to the second wireless communication apparatus by using a first wireless communication or a second wireless communication different from the first wireless communication; and

a controller configured to control transmission of the data, in case when the data is transmitted by using the second wireless communication from the transmitter to the second wireless communication apparatus, according to mapping information mapped by Radio Resource Control (RRC) between a bearer identifier of a bearer in the first wireless communication and an access category of the bearer in the second wireless communication,

the controller configured to perform routing of the data by using Packet Data Convergence Protocol (PDCP) layer as a convergence point and to perform transfer of the data by using a tunnel of a General Packet Radio System (GPRS) tunneling protocol (GTP) in case when using the second wireless communication,

the bearer has a correspondence relationship with the tunnel, and

the second wireless communication apparatus comprising:

a receiver configured to receive the data by using the first wireless communication or the second wireless communication different from the first wireless communication.

2. A wireless communication apparatus comprising:

a transmitter configured to transmit data to other wireless communication apparatus by using a first wireless communication or a second wireless communication different from the first wireless communication, and

a controller configured to control transmission of the data, in case when the data is transmitted by using the second wireless communication from the transmitter to the other wireless communication apparatus, according to mapping information mapped by Radio Resource Control (RRC) between a bearer identifier of a bearer in the first wireless communication and an access category of the bearer in the second wireless communication, wherein

the controller configured to perform routing of the data by using Packet Data Convergence Protocol (PDCP) layer as a convergence point and to perform transfer of the data by using a tunnel of a General Packet Radio System (GPRS) tunneling protocol (GTP) in case when using the second wireless communication, and

the bearer has a correspondence relationship with the tunnel.

3. The wireless communication apparatus according to claim 2 , wherein

the transmitter configured to transmit the data, to which information on the bearer identifier is added, to the other wireless communication apparatus in case when the data is transmitted by using the second wireless communication to the other wireless communication apparatus.

4. The wireless communication apparatus according to claim 2 , wherein

the controller configured to transmit the data to the other wireless communication apparatus by an aggregated bearer of a plurality of bearers between the wireless communication apparatus and the other wireless communication apparatus, the bearers being aggregated at the convergence point established for performing the first wireless communication.

5. The wireless communication apparatus according to claim 2 , wherein

the first wireless communication is used in cellular communications.

6. The wireless communication apparatus according to claim 2 , wherein

the second wireless communication is used in Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN).

7. A control method of a wireless communication apparatus that communicates with other wireless communication apparatus, the control method comprising:

controlling transmission of data, in case when the data is transmitted to the other wireless communication apparatus by using a first wireless communication or a second wireless communication different from the first wireless communication, according to mapping information mapped by Radio Resource Control (RRC) between a bearer identifier of a bearer in the first wireless communication and an access category of the bearer in the second wireless communication, wherein

the controlling includes performing routing of the data by using Packet Data Convergence Protocol (PDCP) layer as a convergence point and to perform transfer of the data by using a tunnel of a General Packet Radio System (GPRS) tunneling protocol (GTP) in case when using the second wireless communication, and

the bearer has a correspondence relationship with the tunnel.

8. The control method according to claim 7 , wherein

the controlling further includes controlling transmission of the data, to which information on the bearer identifier is added, to the other wireless communication apparatus in case when the data is transmitted by using the second wireless communication to the other wireless communication apparatus.
