Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a plurality of host materials comprising a first host material comprising a compound represented by formula 1, and a second host material comprising a compound represented by formula 2, and an organic electroluminescent device comprising the same. By comprising a specific combination of compounds as a host material, it is possible to provide an organic electroluminescent device having an improved lifespan property, compared to conventional organic electroluminescent devices.

Claims (30)

1 . A plurality of host materials comprising a first host material comprising a compound represented by the following formula 1, and a second host material comprising a compound represented by the following formula 2:

wherein

L 1 represents a single bond, a substituted or unsubstituted (C1-C30)alkylene, a substituted or unsubstituted (C6-C30)arylene, a substituted or unsubstituted (3- to 30-membered)heteroarylene, or a substituted or unsubstituted (C3-C30)cycloalkylene;

Ar represents hydrogen, deuterium, a halogen, a cyano, a substituted or unsubstituted (C1-C30)alkyl, a substituted or unsubstituted (C3-C30)cycloalkyl, a substituted or unsubstituted (C3-C30)cycloalkenyl, a substituted or unsubstituted (3- to 7-membered)heterocycloalkyl, a substituted or unsubstituted (C6-C30)aryl, a substituted or unsubstituted (3- to 30-membered)heteroaryl, —NR 1 R 2 , or —SiR 3 R 4 R 5 ;

R 1 to R 5 , each independently, represent a substituted or unsubstituted (C1-C30)alkyl, a substituted or unsubstituted (C6-C30)aryl, or a substituted or unsubstituted (3- to 30-membered)heteroaryl;

is represented by any one of the following formulas 1-1 to 1-7:

X 1 to X 25 , each independently, represent N or CR 6 ;

R 6 , each independently, represents hydrogen, deuterium, a halogen, a cyano, a substituted or unsubstituted (C1-C30)alkyl, a substituted or unsubstituted (C6-C30)aryl, a substituted or unsubstituted (3- to 30-membered)heteroaryl, a substituted or unsubstituted (C3-C30)cycloalkyl, a substituted or unsubstituted (C1-C30)alkoxy, a substituted or unsubstituted tri(C1-C30)alkylsilyl, a substituted or unsubstituted di(C1-C30)alkyl(C6-C30)arylsilyl, a substituted or unsubstituted (C1-C30)alkyldi(C6-C30)arylsilyl, a substituted or unsubstituted tri(C6-C30)arylsilyl, a substituted or unsubstituted mono- or di-(C1-C30)alkylamino, a substituted or unsubstituted mono- or di-(C6-C30)arylamino, or a substituted or unsubstituted (C1-C30)alkyl(C6-C30)arylamino; or adjacent R 6 's may be linked to each other to form a ring(s), and if two or more R 6 's are present, each of R 6 may be the same or different;

V represents CX 26 X 27 , NX 28 , O, or S;

X 26 to X 28 and X 31 to X 41 , each independently, represent hydrogen, deuterium, a halogen, a cyano, a substituted or unsubstituted (C1-C30)alkyl, a substituted or unsubstituted (C6-C30)aryl, a substituted or unsubstituted (3- to 30-membered)heteroaryl, a substituted or unsubstituted (C3-C30)cycloalkyl, a substituted or unsubstituted (C1-C30)alkoxy, a substituted or unsubstituted tri(C1-C30)alkylsilyl, a substituted or unsubstituted di(C1-C30)alkyl(C6-C30)arylsilyl, a substituted or unsubstituted (C1-C30)alkyldi(C6-C30)arylsilyl, a substituted or unsubstituted tri(C6-C30)arylsilyl, a substituted or unsubstituted mono- or di-(C1-C30)alkylamino, a substituted or unsubstituted mono- or di-(C6-C30)arylamino, or a substituted or unsubstituted (C1-C30)alkyl(C6-C30)arylamino; or each of X 31 to X 41 may be linked to an adjacent substituent of X 31 to X 41 to form a ring(s);

a, b, c, f, and g, each independently, represent an integer of 1 to 6, and d, e, h, i, j, and k, each independently, represent an integer of 1 to 4, where if a to k are an integer equal to 2 or more, each of X 31 to each of X 41 may be the same or different; and

* represents a bonding site to L 1 ;

wherein

Y 1 represents O, S, CR 11 R 12 , or NR 13 ;

R 11 to R 13 , each independently, represent hydrogen, deuterium, a halogen, a cyano, a substituted or unsubstituted (C1-C30)alkyl, a substituted or unsubstituted (C3-C30)cycloalkyl, a substituted or unsubstituted (C3-C30)cycloalkenyl, a substituted or unsubstituted (3- to 7-membered)heterocycloalkyl, a substituted or unsubstituted (C6-C30)aryl, or a substituted or unsubstituted (3- to 30-membered)heteroaryl; or R 11 and R 12 may be linked to each other to form a ring;

R 7 to R 9 , each independently, represent hydrogen, deuterium, a halogen, a cyano, a substituted or unsubstituted (C1-C30)alkyl, a substituted or unsubstituted (C6-C30)aryl, a substituted or unsubstituted (3- to 30-membered)heteroaryl, a substituted or unsubstituted tri(C1-C30)alkylsilyl, a substituted or unsubstituted di(C1-C30)alkyl(C6-C30)arylsilyl, a substituted or unsubstituted (C1-C30)alkyldi(C6-C30)arylsilyl, a substituted or unsubstituted tri(C6-C30)arylsilyl, a substituted or unsubstituted mono- or di-(C1-C30)alkylamino, a substituted or unsubstituted (C1-C30)alkyl(C6-C30)arylamino, or a substituted or unsubstituted mono- or di-(C6-C30)arylamino; or may be linked to an adjacent substituent to form a ring(s);

with the proviso that at least one of R 13 , R 8 , and R 9 represents -L 2 -(Ar 1 ) p ;

L 2 represents a single bond, a substituted or unsubstituted (C6-C30)arylene, or a substituted or unsubstituted (3- to 30-membered)heteroarylene;

Ar 1 , each independently, represents a substituted or unsubstituted (3- to 30-membered)heteroaryl containing at least one nitrogen; and

l and n, each independently, represent an integer of 1 to 4, and m and p, each independently, represent an integer of 1 or 2, where if l to n and p are an integer equal to 2 or more, each of R 7 , each of R 8 , each of R 9 , and each of Ar 1 may be the same or different.

The plurality of host materials according to claim 1 , wherein the substituents of the substituted alkyl(ene), the substituted aryl(ene), the substituted heteroaryl(ene), the substituted cycloalkyl(ene), the substituted cycloalkenyl, the substituted heterocycloalkyl, the substituted alkoxy, the substituted trialkylsilyl, the substituted dialkylarylsilyl, the substituted alkyldiarylsilyl, the substituted triarylsilyl, the substituted mono- or di-alkylamino, the substituted mono- or di-arylamino, and the substituted alkylarylamino in R 1 to R 9 , R 11 to R 13 , L 1 , L 2 , Ar, Ar 1 , X 26 to X 28 , and X 31 to X 41 , each independently, are at least one selected from the group consisting of deuterium; a halogen; a cyano; a carboxyl; a nitro; a hydroxyl; a (C1-C30)alkyl; a halo(C1-C30)alkyl; a (C2-C30)alkenyl; a (C2-C30)alkynyl; a (C1-C30)alkoxy; a (C1-C30)alkylthio; a (C3-C30)cycloalkyl; a (C3-C30)cycloalkenyl; a (3- to 7-membered)heterocycloalkyl; a (C6-C30)aryloxy; a (C6-C30)arylthio; a (3- to 30-membered)heteroaryl unsubstituted or substituted with a (C6-C30)aryl(s); a (C6-C30)aryl unsubstituted or substituted with at least one of a (C1-C30)alkyl(s) and a (3- to 30-membered)heteroaryl(s); a tri(C1-C30)alkylsilyl; a tri(C6-C30)arylsilyl; a di(C1-C30)alkyl(C6-C30)arylsilyl; a (C1-C30)alkyldi(C6-C30)arylsilyl; an amino; a mono- or di-(C1-C30)alkylamino; a mono- or di-(C6-C30)arylamino unsubstituted or substituted with a (C1-C30)alkyl(s); a (C1-C30)alkyl(C6-C30)arylamino; a (C1-C30)alkylcarbonyl; a (C1-C30)alkoxycarbonyl; a (C6-C30)arylcarbonyl; a di(C6-C30)arylboronyl; a di(C1-C30)alkylboronyl; a (C1-C30)alkyl(C6-C30)arylboronyl; a (C6-C30)aryl(C1-C30)alkyl; and a (C1-C30)alkyl(C6-C30)aryl.

3 . The plurality of host materials according to claim 1 , wherein formula 2 is represented by at least one of the following formulas 2-1 to 2-9:

Y 1 , L 2 , Ar 1 , R 7 to R 9 , l to n, and p are as defined in claim 1 ;

R 10 , each independently, has the same definition as R 9 ; and

o represents an integer of 1 to 3, where if o is an integer equal to 2 or more, each of R 10 may be the same or different.

The plurality of host materials according to claim 1 , wherein Ar 1 , each independently, represents a substituted or unsubstituted pyridyl, a substituted or unsubstituted pyrimidinyl, a substituted or unsubstituted triazinyl, a substituted or unsubstituted pyrazinyl, a substituted or unsubstituted pyridazinyl, a substituted or unsubstituted quinazolinyl, a substituted or unsubstituted benzoquinazolinyl, a substituted or unsubstituted quinoxalinyl, a substituted or unsubstituted benzoquinoxalinyl, a substituted or unsubstituted quinolyl, a substituted or unsubstituted benzoquinolyl, a substituted or unsubstituted isoquinolyl, a substituted or unsubstituted benzoisoquinolyl, a substituted or unsubstituted triazolyl, a substituted or unsubstituted pyrazolyl, a substituted or unsubstituted naphthyridinyl, or a substituted or unsubstituted benzothienopyrimidinyl.

5 . The plurality of host materials according to claim 1 , wherein the compound represented by formula 1 is at least one selected from the following compounds:

6 . The plurality of host materials according to claim 1 , wherein the compound represented by formula 2 is at least one selected from the following compounds:

7 . An organic electroluminescent device comprising an anode, a cathode, and at least one light-emitting layer between the anode and the cathode, wherein at least one of the light-emitting layers comprises the plurality of host materials according to claim 1 .
