Abstract

The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for distributed complaint addressing ledger in virtual distributed ledger networks. In one embodiment, a processor- implemented method is disclosed, comprising auditing, by a slave consumer node among a plurality of slave consumer nodes in a virtual distributed ledger technology network each associated with an asynchronously updated slave ledger, its associated slave ledger to identify an issue associated with a past transaction; lodging, by the slave consumer node identifying the issue, a complaint with a distributed complaint addressing ledger associated with the virtual distributed ledger technology network; retrieving, by a master producer node, the issue; resolving, by the master producer node, the issue, wherein the master producer node is associated with a master ledger storing a transaction ID associated with the past transaction; and recording, by the master producer node, the resolution in the distributed complaint addressing ledger.

Claims (41)

1. A system for dispute resolution in an asynchronously updated virtual distributed ledger technology network, comprising:

at least one hardware processor; and

at least one memory device storing instructions executable by the at least one hardware processor to perform operations comprising:

creating a master virtual machine or container, wherein the master virtual machine or container is associated with a master producer node in a virtual distributed ledger technology network;

creating a plurality of slave virtual machines or containers, wherein each slave virtual machine or container is associated with a slave consumer node in the virtual distributed ledger technology network, and wherein each slave consumer node is associated with an asynchronously updated slave ledger;

auditing, by one of the slave consumer nodes, its associated slave ledger to identify an issue associated with a past transaction, wherein the past transaction is associated with one or more master producer nodes, wherein the one or more master producer nodes were involved in the past transaction;

lodging, by the slave consumer node identifying the issue, a complaint with a distributed complaint addressing ledger associated with the virtual distributed ledger technology network;

retrieving, by the master producer node, the issue associated with the past transaction from the distributed complaint addressing ledger;

resolving, by the master producer node, the issue associated with the past transaction, wherein the master producer node is associated with a master ledger storing a transaction ID associated with the past transaction; and

recording, by the master producer node, the resolution in the distributed complaint addressing ledger.

2. The system of claim 1 , wherein updates of the master ledger are communicated to each slave ledger of the one or more slave virtual machines at different times such that the one or more slave consumer nodes are asynchronously updated.

3. The system of claim 2 , wherein the virtual distributed ledger technology network does not seek consensus from the slave consumer nodes for asynchronous updates of the slave consumer nodes.

4. The system of claim 1 , wherein one or more of the master producer nodes access the complaint lodged with the distributed complaint addressing ledger.

5. The system of claim 1 , wherein the master producer node that resolves the issue is one of a plurality of the master producer nodes involved in the transaction.

6. The system of claim 1 , wherein the auditing by the slave consumer node of its associated slave ledger is performed periodically.

7. A method for dispute resolution in an asynchronously updated virtual distributed ledger technology network, comprising:

creating, via one or more hardware processors, a master virtual machine or container, wherein the master virtual machine or container is associated with a master producer node in a virtual distributed ledger technology network;

creating, via the one or more hardware processors, a plurality of slave virtual machines or containers, wherein each slave virtual machine or container is associated with a slave consumer node in the virtual distributed ledger technology network, and wherein each slave consumer node is associated with an asynchronously updated slave ledger;

auditing, by one of the slave consumer nodes, its associated slave ledger to identify an issue associated with a past transaction, wherein the past transaction is associated with one or more master producer nodes, wherein the one or more master producer nodes were involved in the past transaction;

lodging, by the slave consumer node identifying the issue, a complaint with a distributed complaint addressing ledger associated with the virtual distributed ledger technology network;

retrieving, by the master producer node, the issue associated with the past transaction from the distributed complaint addressing ledger;

resolving, by the master producer node, the issue associated with the past transaction, wherein the master producer node is associated with a master ledger storing a transaction ID associated with the past transaction; and

recording, by the master producer node, the resolution in the distributed complaint addressing ledger.

8. The method of claim 7 , wherein updates of the master ledger are communicated to each slave ledger of the one or more slave virtual machines at different times such that the one or more slave consumer nodes are asynchronously updated.

9. The method of claim 8 , wherein the virtual distributed ledger technology network does not seek consensus from the slave consumer nodes for asynchronous updates of the slave consumer nodes.

10. The method of claim 7 , wherein one or more of the master producer nodes access the complaint lodged with the distributed complaint addressing ledger.

11. The method of claim 7 , wherein the master producer node that resolves the issue is one of a plurality of the master producer nodes involved in the transaction.

12. The method of claim 7 , wherein the auditing by the slave consumer node of its associated slave ledger is performed periodically.

13. A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions for dispute resolution in an asynchronously updated virtual distributed ledger technology network, the instructions executable by one or more hardware processors to perform operations comprising:

creating, via one or more hardware processors, a master virtual machine or container, wherein the master virtual machine or container is associated with a master producer node in a virtual distributed ledger technology network;

creating, via the one or more hardware processors, a plurality of slave virtual machines or containers, wherein each slave virtual machine or container is associated with a slave consumer node in the virtual distributed ledger technology network, and wherein each slave consumer node is associated with an asynchronously updated slave ledger;

auditing, by one of the slave consumer nodes, its associated slave ledger to identify an issue associated with a past transaction, wherein the past transaction is associated with one or more master producer nodes, wherein the one or more master producer nodes were involved in the past transaction;

lodging, by the slave consumer node identifying the issue, a complaint with a distributed complaint addressing ledger associated with the virtual distributed ledger technology network;

retrieving, by the master producer node, the issue associated with the past transaction from the distributed complaint addressing ledger;

resolving, by the master producer node, the issue associated with the past transaction, wherein the master producer node is associated with a master ledger storing a transaction ID associated with the past transaction; and

recording, by the master producer node, the resolution in the distributed complaint addressing ledger.

14. The medium of claim 13 , wherein updates of the master ledger are communicated to each slave ledger of the one or more slave virtual machines at different times such that the one or more slave consumer nodes are asynchronously updated;

wherein the virtual distributed ledger technology network does not seek consensus from the slave consumer nodes for asynchronous updates of the slave consumer nodes.

15. The medium of claim 13 , wherein one or more of the master producer nodes access the complaint lodged with the distributed complaint addressing ledger.

16. The medium of claim 13 , wherein the master producer node that resolves the issue is one of a plurality of the master producer nodes involved in the transaction.

17. The medium of claim 13 , wherein the auditing by the slave consumer node of its associated slave ledger is performed periodically.
