Abstract

A pulsed light communication device has a plurality of indicator light emitting diodes emitting diodes emitting at least one of a plurality of wavelengths of colored light to correspond to a designated color assigned to a security level for a network. A continuous uninterrupted modulated pulsed light emitting diode light signal may be generated having a sensitivity threshold detection level exceeding minimal parameters of a photodetector.

Claims (10)

1. A pulsed light communication device comprising:

at least one transmission light emitting diode generating illumination at a wavelength in a visible light spectrum, at least one photo detector, and a controller in communication with said at least one transmission light emitting diode and said at least one photo detector, said at least one photo detector detecting said wavelength in said visible light spectrum, said controller generating a continuous uninterrupted modulated pulsed light emitting diode light signal transmitting information or data, said continuous uninterrupted modulated pulsed light emitting diode light signal comprising a plurality of rapid flashes of light at said wavelength, said rapid flashes of light being generated at a frequency which is not observable to unaided eyes of an individual, said controller regulating said rapid flashes of light embedding and communicating said information or data within said illumination, said information or data comprises an origination identifier, and a destination identifier, said controller having memory, said memory storing at least one light sensitivity threshold detection level for said at least one photo detector for said wavelength, said at least one sensitivity threshold detection level being greater than zero or off, said continuous uninterrupted modulated pulsed light emitting diode light signal having a first amplitude level and a second reduced amplitude level, said first amplitude level being greater than said second reduced amplitude level, wherein said controller varies said second reduced amplitude level to be greater than a value of zero or off and greater than said sensitivity threshold detection level.

2. The pulsed light communication device according to claim 1 , wherein said continuous uninterrupted modulated pulsed light emitting diode light signal is formed of a plurality of pulses, each of said pulses having a pulse amplitude level wherein each of said pulse amplitude levels are the same.

The pulsed light communication device according to claim 1 , wherein said continuous uninterrupted modulated pulsed light emitting diode light signal is formed of a plurality of pulses, each of said pulses having a pulse amplitude level wherein at least one of said pulse amplitude levels varies relative to another of said pulse amplitude levels.

The pulsed light communication device according to claim 1 , wherein said continuous uninterrupted modulated pulsed light emitting diode light signal is formed of a plurality of pulses, each of said pulses having a pulse frequency and a pulse amplitude level, wherein each of said pulse amplitude levels are the same and each of said pulse frequencies are the same.

The pulsed light communication device according to claim 1 , wherein said continuous uninterrupted modulated pulsed light emitting diode light signal is formed of a plurality of pulses, each of said plurality of pulses having a pulse frequency and a pulse amplitude level, wherein at least one of said pulse amplitude levels varies relative to another of said pulse amplitude levels, and at least one of said pulse frequencies varies relative to another of said pulse frequencies.

The pulsed light communication device according to claim 1 , wherein said continuous uninterrupted modulated pulsed light emitting diode light signal is formed of a plurality of pulses, each of said plurality of pulses having a pulse frequency and a pulse amplitude level, wherein each of said pulse amplitude levels are the same and at least one of said pulse frequencies varies relative to another of said pulse frequencies.

The pulsed light communication device according to claim 1 , wherein said continuous uninterrupted modulated pulsed light emitting diode light signal is formed of a plurality of pulses, each of said plurality of pulses having a pulse frequency, and a pulse amplitude level wherein at least one of said pulse amplitude levels varies relative to another of said pulse amplitude levels and each of said pulse frequencies are the same.

The pulsed light communication device according to claim 1 , wherein said continuous uninterrupted modulated pulsed light emitting diode light signal is formed of a plurality of pulses, each of said plurality of pulses having a pulse frequency, wherein at least one of said pulse frequencies varies relative to another of said pulse frequencies.

9. The pulsed light communication device according to claim 1 , wherein said information or data comprises synchronization pulses.
