Abstract

An aspect of the present disclosure describes a heatsink system, including a single substantially solid core detachable linear heatsink having at least one exterior flat surface, a power management module, a controller, a sensing device, a microswitch, a light source driver, a plurality of heat dissipating fins, and a plurality of lensed light sources coupled to the at least one exterior flat surface. Additionally, according to this aspect, the plurality of the heat dissipating fins and the core of the linear heatsink are a unitary body with the heat dissipating fins extending outwardly from the core and with a length of a first maximum dimension of the core and at least one fin being greater than a second maximum dimension of the core taken perpendicularly to at least one exterior flat surface that retains a light source. Still further, at least one of the power management module, the controller, the sensing device, and the light source driver are electromechanically coupled to the heatsink core, and at least one of the plurality of lensed light sources is coupled to the at least one exterior flat surface and is controlled by the processor to emit ultraviolet (UV) light.
