Abstract

A detection system including a control device detecting fraud performed in a game table by using a result of an image analysis performed by an image analyzing device is included. A substitute currency for gaming used for this detection system has a multi-layer structure in which a plurality of plastic layers having different colors are stacked, a coloring layer is included at least in the middle, and white layers or thin-color layers (may be layers having a color thinner than that of the coloring layer; not illustrated in the drawing) are stacked on both sides of the coloring layer disposed in the middle.

Claims (23)

1. A management system comprising:

a game table;

a camera configured to generate image data by capturing a game that is played on the game table using substitute currency to each of which a respective radio frequency identifier (RFID) that is individually identifiable is attached;

at least one processor, wherein the at least one processor is configured to:

identify one or more types and one or more quantities of the substitute currency by using the RFID;

measure the one or more quantities of the substitute currency based on the image data;

determine whether the one or more quantities identified using the RFID differ from the one or more quantities measured based on the image data; and

in response to a result of the determination being that the one or more quantities identified using the RFID differ from the one or more quantities measured based on the image data, record a result of the identification, a result of the measurement, and the image data on which the measurement is based.

2. The management system according to claim 1 , wherein the at least one processor is configured to determine that at least one of the substitute currency to which the RFID is attached is defective or fake in response to the result of the determination being that the one or more quantities identified using the RFID differ from the one or more quantities measured based on the image data.

3. The management system according to claim 1 , wherein the at least one processor is configured to additionally determine the one or more types of the substitute currency based on the image data, and store a record of the measured one or more types.

4. The management system according to claim 1 , wherein the at least one processor is configured to generate an error signal in response to determining an abnormality in the substitute currency.

5. The management system according to claim 1 , further comprising a card distributer, wherein the card distributer is configured to determine and display a win/lose result of the game played on the game table, wherein the at least one processor is configured to:

additionally determine the one or more types of the substitute currency and one or more positions of the substitute currency based on the image data; and

calculate a balance of a casino side with respect to the game table based on (a) the win/lose result determined by the card distributer and (b) the one or more positions, the one or more types, and the one or more quantities of the substitute currency.

6. The management system according to claim 5 , wherein the at least one processor is configured to verify whether a change in a total amount, from before the game to after the game, that is determined based on the one or more types and the one or more quantities of the substitute currency determined based on the RFID or the image data is consistent with the balance calculated for the game.

7. The management system according to claim 1 , wherein the at least one processor is configured to:

when there is change in presence of the substitute currency, record in a database a time at which the change is detected; and

verify a suspicion of use of an unjust substitute currency.

8. The management system according to claim 1 , wherein the RFID, on the basis of which the at least one processor is configured to identify the one or more quantities of the substitute currency, is built into the substitute currency when the substitute currency is manufactured.

9. The management system according to claim 1 , wherein the at least one processor is configured to store a record of the one or more quantities of the substitute currency measured based on the image data.

10. The management system according to claim 1 , wherein the at least one processor is configured to generate an error signal in response to determining an abnormality in the substitute currency based on the RFID.

11. The management system according to claim 1 , wherein the at least one processor is configured to determine an abnormality in the substitute currency based on the RFID.

12. The management system according to claim 11 , wherein the at least one processor is configured to generate an error signal in response to the determination of the abnormality.
