UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLES
A system comprises an unmanned aerial vehicle, UAV. The UAV comprises a camera having one or more camera properties. The system is configured to provide privacy in relation to the camera when the UAV is below a predetermined altitude. The system is configured such that said privacy in relation to the camera is not provided when the UAV is above said predetermined altitude.
1 . A system comprising:
an unmanned aerial vehicle, UAV, the UAV comprising a camera having one or more camera properties, wherein the system is configured to provide privacy in relation to the camera when the UAV is below a predetermined altitude, and wherein the system is configured such that said privacy in relation to the camera is not provided when the UAV is above said predetermined altitude.
2 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the camera is a forward-facing camera.
3 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the camera is a sideways-facing camera.
4 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the camera is a backward-facing camera.
5 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the UAV is configured to output, in real-time, image data captured by the camera.
6 . The system of claim 5 , wherein the output image data comprises still image data.
7 . The system of claim 5 , wherein the output image data comprises video data.
8 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the UAV is configured to output, in real-time, image data captured by the camera to a smartphone.
9 . The system of claim 5 , wherein the UAV is configured to output, in real-time, image data captured by the camera to a tablet computing device.
10 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the UAV is configured to perform image enhancement in relation to at least some image data captured by the camera.
11 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the UAV is configured to perform object recognition in relation to at least some image data captured by the camera.
12 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the UAV is configured to perform object classification in relation to at least some image data captured by the camera.
13 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the UAV is configured to perform object localisation in relation to at least some image data captured by the camera.
14 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the UAV comprises at least one additional camera in addition to said camera.
15 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the system is inside a building.
16 . A system comprising:
an unmanned aerial vehicle, UAV, the UAV comprising a camera, wherein the system is configured to provide privacy in relation to the camera when the UAV is below a predetermined altitude, wherein the system is configured such that said privacy in relation to the camera is not provided when the UAV is above said predetermined altitude, and wherein the UAV is configured to output, in real-time, video data captured by the camera to a smartphone and/or tablet computing device.
17 . An unmanned aerial vehicle, UAV, comprising a camera, wherein the UAV is configured to control the camera to provide a first level of privacy when the UAV is below a predetermined altitude and to provide a second, lower level of privacy when the UAV is above said predetermined altitude.
