A method of making a protein comprising an Fc variant as compared to a parent IgG Fc region, said variant Fc region comprising an amino acid substitution selected from the group consisting of Q311V, H285D and N286D, wherein numbering is according to the EU index in Kabat et al., said method comprising culturing the host cell of claim 30 under conditions wherein said antibody is expressed and recovering said antibody.
