Abstract

A bio-signal measuring device includes a signal detector detecting a bio-signal; a signal converter converting the bio-signal into a bio-digital signal; a memory; a communicator communicating with an external device; and a processor configured to operate in a first operation mode for storing the bio-digital signal in the memory or a second operation mode for transmitting the bio-digital signal to the external device.

Claims (31)

1. An electrocardiogram measuring system comprising:

an electrocardiogram measuring device comprising:

a signal detector detecting an electrocardiogram analog signal;

a signal converter converting the electrocardiogram analog signal into an electrocardiogram digital signal;

a memory;

a communicator communicating with an external device; and

a processor configured to cause the electrocardiogram measuring device to operate in a first operation mode for storing the electrocardiogram digital signal in the memory and a second operation mode for transmitting the electrocardiogram digital signal to the external device; and

a portable electronic device communicatively coupled to the electrocardiogram measuring device and the external device, the portable electronic device configured to facilitate the second operation mode of transmitting the electrocardiogram digital signal from the electrocardiogram measuring device to the external device by pre-storing an identification (ID) of the external device, accessing a certificate stored in the external device, and authenticating the certificate of the external device, the portable electronic device further configured to:

receive an output selection signal including object information and time information from the external device after the portable electronic device is authenticated by the external device;

generate an output control signal corresponding to the output selection signal; and

control an output corresponding to the output control signal to be displayed on the external device by transmitting the output control signal to the external device.

2. The electrocardiogram measuring system of claim 1 , wherein the processor is configured to cause the electrocardiogram measuring device to operate in the second operation mode according to a control signal from the external device.

3. The electrocardiogram measuring system of claim 2 , wherein the processor is further configured to receive the control signal from the external device, the control signal acquired through an input unit of the external device or an input unit of an electronic device connected to the external device.

4. The electrocardiogram measuring system of claim 1 , wherein the processor is configured to cause the electrocardiogram measuring device to operate in the first operation mode when a failure in communication with the external device occurs while operating in the second operation mode.

5. The electrocardiogram measuring system of claim 1 , wherein, in the second operation mode, the electrocardiogram digital signal is stored in a memory of the external device.

6. The electrocardiogram measuring system of claim 1 , wherein, in the second operation mode, the electrocardiogram digital signal is stored in a memory of an electronic device connected to the external device.

7. The electrocardiogram measuring system of claim 1 , wherein, in the second operation mode, the electrocardiogram digital signal is output to an output unit of an electronic device connected to the external device.

8. An electrocardiogram measuring method comprising:

communicating, by a portable electronic device including a processor, with an electrocardiogram measuring device and an external device,

wherein the electrocardiogram measuring device is communicatively coupled to the external device and configured to detect an electrocardiogram analog signal, convert the electrocardiogram analog signal into an electrocardiogram digital signal, and set an operation mode to a first operation mode for storing the electrocardiogram digital signal in a memory or a second operation mode for transmitting the electrocardiogram digital signal to an external device;

facilitating, by the portable electronic device, the second operation mode of transmitting the electrocardiogram digital signal from the electrocardiogram measuring device to the external device by pre-storing an identification (ID) of the external device, accessing a certificate stored in the external device, and authenticating the external device;

receiving, by the portable electronic device, an output selection signal including object information and time information from the external device after the portable electronic device is authenticated by the external device;

generating, by the portable electronic device, an output control signal corresponding to the output selection signal; and

controlling, by the portable electronic device, an output screen corresponding to the output control signal to be displayed on the external device by transmitting the output control signal to the external device.

9. The electrocardiogram measuring method of claim 8 , further comprising:

in response to a control signal received from the external device, causing, by the portable electronic device, the electrocardiogram measuring device to operate in the second operation mode.

10. The electrocardiogram measuring method of claim 9 , further comprising acquiring, by the portable electronic device, the control signal from the external device through an input unit of the external device or an input unit of an electronic device connected to the external device.

11. The electrocardiogram measuring method of claim 8 , further comprising changing, by the portable electronic device, the operation mode to the first operation mode when a failure in communication with the external device occurs while the electrocardiogram measuring device operates in the second operation mode.

12. The electrocardiogram measuring method of claim 8 , wherein, in the second operation mode, storing, by the portable electronic device, the electrocardiogram digital signal in a memory of the external device.

13. The electrocardiogram measuring method of claim 8 , wherein, in the second operation mode, storing, by portable electronic device, the electrocardiogram digital signal in a memory of an electronic device connected to the external device.

14. The electrocardiogram measuring method of claim 8 , wherein, in the second operation mode, outputting, by portable electronic device, the electrocardiogram signal to an output unit of an electronic device connected to the external device.
