Abstract

A system to provision cloud computing-based virtual computing resources within a virtual environment comprising a server computer system including at least one cloud server computer implementing at least one virtual environment, and at least one virtual computer associated with the at least one virtual environment. The at least one virtual computer receives virtual computing resources from the server computer system. The server computer system is configured to provision at least one client device with at least one portion of the available virtual computing resources responsive to the at least one client device accessing the at least one virtual computer.

Claims (31)

1. A system to provision cloud computing-based virtual computing resources within a virtual environment, comprising:

a server computer system comprising one or more server computers, including at least one cloud server computer comprising at least one processor and memory including data and instructions implementing at least one virtual environment, and at least one virtual computer associated with the at least one virtual environment, wherein the at least one virtual computer receives virtual computing resources from the server computer system, and wherein the at least one virtual computer is graphically represented by at least one corresponding graphical representation in at least one spatial position within the at least one virtual environment,

wherein the server computer is configured to trigger provisioning at least one client device with the virtual computing resources by remotely accessing the at least one virtual computer,

wherein the at least one virtual computer is accessed by connecting the at least one client device to the at least one cloud server through a network,

wherein the server computer system is further configured to provision the at least one client device with at least one portion of the virtual computing resources responsive to a user graphical representation interacting with the at least one corresponding graphical representation of the at least one virtual computer within the at least one virtual environment,

wherein the provisioning of the at least one portion of the virtual computing resources is performed based on a stored user profile,

wherein the stored user profile comprises priority data, security data, QOS data, bandwidth data, memory space, or computing power data, or a combination thereof.

2. The system of claim 1 , wherein the server computer system is further configured to provision the at least one client device with the at least one portion of the virtual computing resources responsive to a user accessing the at least one cloud server computer by logging into the at least one client device without the at least one client device being connected to the at least one virtual environment.

3. The system of claim 1 , wherein the at least one virtual computer comprises a downloadable application available from an application library.

4. A method to provision virtual computing resources within a virtual environment, comprising:

providing in memory of at least one cloud server computer at least one virtual computer and a virtual environment associated with the at least one virtual computer, wherein the at least one virtual computer is graphically represented by at least on corresponding graphical representation in at least one spatial position within the virtual environment;

associating virtual computing resources with the at least one virtual computer;

receiving, from at least one client device, an access request to access the one or more virtual computers;

triggering provisioning of at least one client device with the virtual computing resources by remotely accessing the at least one virtual computer, wherein the at least one virtual computer is accessed by connecting the at least one client device to the at least one cloud server through a network; and

provisioning the at least one client device with a portion of the virtual computing resources associated with the at least one virtual computer responsive to the access request received from the at least one client device, wherein the access request is generated responsive to a user graphical representation interacting with the at least one corresponding graphical representation of the at least one virtual computer within the virtual environment;

wherein the provisioning of the portion of the virtual computing resources is performed based on a stored user profile;

wherein the stored user profile comprises priority data, security data, QOS data, bandwidth data, memory space, or computing power data, or a combination thereof.

5. The method of claim 4 , further comprising:

provisioning the portion of the virtual computing resources to the at least one client device without the at least one client device being connected to the virtual environment.

6. The method of claim 4 , wherein the at least one virtual computer comprises a downloadable application available from an application library.

7. A non-transitory computer readable medium having stored thereon instructions configured to cause at least one server computer comprising a processor and memory to perform steps comprising:

providing at least one virtual environment associated with virtual computers, wherein the virtual computers are graphically represented by corresponding graphical representations in spatial positions within the at least one virtual environment;

associating virtual computing resources with the virtual computers;

receiving, from at least one client device, an access request to access at least one of the virtual computers;

triggering provisioning of at least one client device with the virtual computing resources by remotely accessing the at least one virtual computer, wherein the at least one virtual computer is accessed by connecting the at least one client device to the at least one cloud server through a network; and

provisioning the at least one client device with a portion of the virtual computing resources associated with the at least one virtual computer responsive to the access request received from the at least one client device, wherein the access request is generated responsive to a user graphical representation interacting with a corresponding graphical representation of the at least one virtual computer within the at least one virtual environment;

wherein the provisioning of the portion of the virtual computing resources is performed based on a stored user profile;

wherein the stored user profile comprises priority data, security data, QOS data, bandwidth data, memory space, or computing power data, or a combination thereof.

8. The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 7 , the steps further comprising:

provisioning the portion of the virtual computing resources to the at least one client device without the at least one client device being connected to the at least one virtual environment.

9. The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 7 , wherein the virtual computers comprise a downloadable application available from an application library.
