The present invention relates to, inter alia, pharmaceutical compositions comprising a polyunsaturated fatty acid and to methods of using the same to treat or prevent cardiovascular-related diseases.

16 . A method of reducing triglycerides in a subject having baseline triglyceride levels of at least about 250 mg/dl, the method comprising administering to the subject mipomersen and eicosapentaenoic acid.
17 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the eicosapentaenoic acid and the mipomersen are present in a single dosage form.
18 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the mipomersen is in a dosage form separate from the eicosapentaenoic acid.
19 . The method of claim 16 , wherein a cholesterol level is reduced in the subject.
20 . The method of claim 19 , wherein the cholesterol level is selected from the group consisting of: HDL-C, LDL-C, non-HDL-C, and VLDL-C.
21 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the eicosapentaenoic acid is present in a pharmaceutical composition and the eicosapentaenoic acid comprises at least about 80 wt % of all fatty acids in the pharmaceutical composition.
22 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the eicosapentaenoic acid comprises at least about 96 wt. % of all omega-3 fatty acids in the pharmaceutical composition.
