Abstract

Systems and methods for dynamic communication routing based on consistency weighting and routing rules are disclosed. A computing device can receive a communication including content data. The communication can be stored in a queue position of a primary queue. For example, the primary queue can include a plurality of queue positions for storing communications. The communication can be retrieved from the queue position of the primary queue and analyzed. In some instances, analyzing can include parsing the content data for a keyword. A keyword can correspond to a secondary queue. When the keyword is identified in the communication, the communication can be stored in the secondary queue that corresponds to the keyword. A terminal device associated with the secondary queue can be identified. A retrieval request to access the communication from the secondary queue can be received, and the communication can be routed to the terminal device.

Claims (47)

1. A computer-implemented method comprising:

determining one or more characteristics for one or more messages, wherein the one or more messages are exchanged in a communication series between a network device and a terminal device;

determining whether a re-routing condition is satisfied, wherein a determination is made based on an evaluation of the one or more messages and the one or more characteristics;

selecting a new terminal device, wherein the new terminal device is selected when the re-routing condition is satisfied, and wherein the new terminal device is selected based on the one or more characteristics;

generating a dynamic message chronicle, wherein the dynamic message chronicle includes the one or more messages;

facilitating establishment of a continuous channel between the network device and the new terminal device, wherein subsequent messages from the network device are transmitted to the new terminal device via the continuous channel;

presenting the dynamic message chronicle to the new terminal device; and

routing the subsequent messages between the network device and the new terminal device via the continuous channel to continue the communication series, wherein the dynamic message chronicle is updated as the subsequent messages are routed.

2. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the one or more characteristics correspond to a polarity associated with the one or more messages.

3. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the one or more characteristics correspond to an extent to which a sentiment of the communication series has changed during the communication series.

4. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the re-routing condition is satisfied as a result of the one or more characteristics corresponding to a sentiment score that is below a threshold value.

5. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the new terminal device is selected based on an alignment of the one or more characteristics with vectors of variables associated with an agent operating the new terminal device.

6. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the dynamic message chronicle includes a set of dimensions, wherein a first dimension of the set of dimensions indicates sources of the one or more messages and a second dimension of the set of dimensions indicates transmission times of the one or more messages.

7. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , further comprising:

transmitting a re-routing notification to the terminal device to indicate that the subsequent messages are being routed to the new terminal device.

8. A system, comprising:

one or more processors; and

memory storing thereon instructions that, as a result of being executed by the one or more processors, cause the system to:

determine one or more characteristics for one or more messages, wherein the one or more messages are exchanged in a communication series between a network device and a terminal device;

determine whether a re-routing condition is satisfied, wherein a determination is made based on an evaluation of the one or more messages and the one or more characteristics;

select a new terminal device, wherein the new terminal device is selected when the re-routing condition is satisfied, and wherein the new terminal device is selected based on the one or more characteristics;

generate a dynamic message chronicle, wherein the dynamic message chronicle includes the one or more messages;

facilitate establishment of a continuous channel between the network device and the new terminal device, wherein subsequent messages from the network device are transmitted to the new terminal device via the continuous channel;

present the dynamic message chronicle to the new terminal device; and

route the subsequent messages between the network device and the new terminal device via the continuous channel to continue the communication series, wherein the dynamic message chronicle is updated as the subsequent messages are routed.

9. The system of claim 8 , wherein the one or more characteristics correspond to a polarity associated with the one or more messages.

10. The system of claim 8 , wherein the one or more characteristics correspond to an extent to which a sentiment of the communication series has changed during the communication series.

11. The system of claim 8 , wherein the re-routing condition is satisfied as a result of the one or more characteristics corresponding to a sentiment score that is below a threshold value.

12. The system of claim 8 , wherein the new terminal device is selected based on an alignment of the one or more characteristics with vectors of variables associated with an agent operating the new terminal device.

13. The system of claim 8 , wherein the dynamic message chronicle includes a set of dimensions, wherein a first dimension of the set of dimensions indicates sources of the one or more messages and a second dimension of the set of dimensions indicates transmission times of the one or more messages.

14. The system of claim 8 , wherein the instructions further cause the system to:

transmit a re-routing notification to the terminal device to indicate that the subsequent messages are being routed to the new terminal device.

15. A non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium storing thereon executable instructions that, as a result of being executed by one or more processors of a computer system, cause the computer system to:

determine one or more characteristics for one or more messages, wherein the one or more messages are exchanged in a communication series between a network device and a terminal device;

determine whether a re-routing condition is satisfied, wherein a determination is made based on an evaluation of the one or more messages and the one or more characteristics;

select a new terminal device, wherein the new terminal device is selected when the re-routing condition is satisfied, and wherein the new terminal device is selected based on the one or more characteristics;

generate a dynamic message chronicle, wherein the dynamic message chronicle includes the one or more messages;

facilitate establishment of a continuous channel between the network device and the new terminal device, wherein subsequent messages from the network device are transmitted to the new terminal device via the continuous channel;

present the dynamic message chronicle to the new terminal device; and

route the subsequent messages between the network device and the new terminal device via the continuous channel to continue the communication series, wherein the dynamic message chronicle is updated as the subsequent messages are routed.

16. The non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium of claim 15 , wherein the one or more characteristics correspond to a polarity associated with the one or more messages.

17. The non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium of claim 15 , wherein the one or more characteristics correspond to an extent to which a sentiment of the communication series has changed during the communication series.

18. The non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium of claim 15 , wherein the re-routing condition is satisfied as a result of the one or more characteristics corresponding to a sentiment score that is below a threshold value.

19. The non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium of claim 15 , wherein the new terminal device is selected based on an alignment of the one or more characteristics with vectors of variables associated with an agent operating the new terminal device.

20. The non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium of claim 15 , wherein the dynamic message chronicle includes a set of dimensions, wherein a first dimension of the set of dimensions indicates sources of the one or more messages and a second dimension of the set of dimensions indicates transmission times of the one or more messages.
