Abstract

Event-related data based on an image that has been captured is generated. Coverage information relating to imaging range is compared to the event-related data. The cameras that can capture an image of the event, based on a comparing result, are listed so that an operator can select one of the listed cameras.

Claims (32)

1. A surveillance control system comprising:

at least one memory storing instructions;

at least one processor connected to the memory that, based on the instructions, performs operations comprising:

determining an event position and an event size of an event based on first camera information obtained from a first camera; and

controlling a zoom of a second camera to capture the event at a predetermined size based on the event position and the event size.

2. The surveillance control system according to claim 1 , the operations further comprising

listing cameras which can capture an image of the event so that an operator can select one of the listed cameras.

3. The surveillance control system according to claim 2 , the operations further comprising

in the listing of the cameras, identifying the cameras based on map information including wall or other space defining structures.

4. A surveillance control method comprising:

determining an event position and an event size of an event based on first camera information obtained from a first camera; and

controlling a zoom of a second camera to capture the event at a predetermined size based on the event position and the event size.

5. The surveillance control method according to claim 4 , further comprising

listing cameras which can capture an image of the event so that an operator can select one of the listed cameras.

6. The surveillance control method according to claim 5 , further comprising

in the listing of the cameras, identifying the cameras based on map information including wall or other space defining structures.

7. A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a program causing a computer to performs operations comprising:

determining an event position and an event size of an event based on first camera information obtained from a first camera; and

controlling a zoom of a second camera to capture the event at a predetermined size based on the event position and the event size.

8. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium according to claim 7 , the operations further comprising:

listing cameras which can capture an image of the event so that an operator can select one of the listed cameras.

9. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium according to claim 8 , the operations further comprising:

in the listing of the cameras, identifying the cameras based on map information including wall or other space defining structures.

10. The surveillance control system according to claim 1 , the operations further comprising:

controlling the zoom of the second camera to include a whole of the event based on the event position and the event size.

11. The surveillance control method according to claim 4 , further comprising:

controlling the zoom of the second camera to include a whole of the event based on the event position and the event size.

12. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium according to claim 7 , the operations further comprising:

controlling the zoom of the second camera to include a whole of the event based on the event position and the event size.

13. The surveillance control system according to claim 1 , wherein the event occurs with respect to at least one of two people.

14. The surveillance control method according to claim 4 , wherein the event occurs with respect to at least one of two people.

15. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium according to claim 7 , wherein the event occurs with respect to at least one of two people.
