Abstract

A display control device includes: a processor configured to: acquire a folding angle of a foldable display portion; and display a receiving portion configured to receive input by a user, on the display portion in different modes according to the folding angle.

Claims (29)

1. A display control device comprising:

a processor configured to:

acquire a folding angle of a foldable display portion; and

display a receiving portion configured to receive input by a user, on the display portion in different modes according to the folding angle, wherein

the processor is configured to display the receiving portion at one or more positions that move farther from a folding portion of the display portion as the folding angle decreases.

2. The display control device according to claim 1 , wherein

the processor is configured to display the receiving portion on the display portion such that at least one of (i) the one or more positions of the receiving portion on the display portion, (ii) a display area of the receiving portion on the display portion, or (iii) elements constituting the receiving portion is made different according to the folding angle.

3. The display control device according to claim 2 , wherein the processor is configured to make the display area of the receiving portion on the display portion smaller as the folding angle decreases.

4. The display control device according to claim 1 , wherein the processor is configured to continuously change a mode of displaying the receiving portion according to the folding angle.

5. The display control device according to claim 1 , wherein the processor is configured to display the receiving portion on the display portion when a predetermined operation is performed on the display portion.

6. The display control device according to claim 5 , wherein the processor is configured to display the receiving portion on the display portion when an operation that requires input using the receiving portion is performed on the display portion.

7. The display control device according to claim 5 , wherein the processor is configured to display the receiving portion on the display portion when the display portion is folded at a predetermined angle in a state where the receiving portion is not displayed on the display portion.

8. The display control device according to claim 1 , wherein

the processor is configured to, when the folding angle is changed after the processor displays the receiving portion on the display portion, change a mode of displaying the receiving portion according to the folding angle.

The display control device according to claim 8 , wherein when the folding angle is changed after the processor displays the receiving portion on the display portion, but contents of an image displayed on the display portion satisfy a predetermined condition, the processor does not change a mode in which the receiving portion is displayed.

10. The display control device according to claim 1 , wherein the processor is configured to:

further acquire information regarding an orientation of the display portion, and

display the receiving portion on the display portion in the different modes according to the orientation of the display portion and the folding angle.

11. The display control device according to claim 10 , wherein

the display portion comprises a first display region and a second display region that are arranged with the folding portion interposed therebetween, and

the processor is configured to display the receiving portion on one or both of the first display region and the second display region of the display portion according to the orientation of the display portion and the folding angle.

12. A display device comprising:

a foldable display portion; and

a display controller configured to display a receiving portion configured to receive input by a user, on the display portion in different modes according to a folding angle of the display portion, wherein

the display controller is configured to display the receiving portion at one or more positions that move farther from a folding portion of the display portion as the folding angle decreases.

13. A non-transitory computer readable medium storing a program that causes a computer to execute display control processing, the display control processing comprising:

acquiring a folding angle of a foldable display portion; and

displaying a receiving portion configured to receive input by a user, on the display portion in different modes according to the folding angle, wherein

wherein the receiving portion is displayed at one or more positions that move farther from a folding portion of the display portion as the folding angle decreases.
