Abstract

The present disclosure is directed to methods for treating diseases for which cysteamine is indicated and compounds useful in such methods.

Claims (5)

1. A compound having the following structure or a disulfide thereof:

wherein R 1 is C 1-5 alkyl; and

R 3 , R 4 , R 5 , R 7 , and R 8 are independently selected from the group consisting of H and C 1-5 alkyl.

2. A compound having the following structure or a disulfide thereof:

wherein R 1 , R 3 , R 4 , R 5 , R 6 , and R 7 are independently selected from the group consisting of H and C 1-5 alkyl.
